That is so sweet that Andrew will book our excursions. But honestly, on the 4 day cruise I just want to relax so you can go on one or 2 without me. That's makes it easier for Andrew to book for just 1 person. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I've never done brunch or dinner, this will be a fun experience for me. :flower3:

This is for Carolyn and Andrew's anniversary cruise in May, but she is leaving Andrew home and taking me instead. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
OK, I got us Brunch at 10:30 on the sea day and dinner at 6:30 on our anniversary. (Tuesday May 12) Unfortunatly that's also CC day, so we'll have to allow ourselves plenty of time to get ready!
We have the Segway tour in Nassau at 10:00 AM. If you want to stay on the ship, that's fine. I'm a big girl and can go without you!
I still need to figure out if I want ant spa stuff. With the REAS package, we do get to use the Rainforest Room for the length of the cruise.

:thumbsup2 :lmao:
Oh my....I better go to my brother's and start riding his Segway so I don't look like an idiot in Nassau. ::yes:: If I can't do it then you can go by yourself. :rotfl:

I've never done it either, we can look like idiots together! I have a friend who has done both the EPCOT and Fort Wilderness ones. She says it's fun and even my clutzy self could do it!

I figure if my DD can ride one so can I, but I'm a bit of a fraidy cat to try one.
If you want to try it ahead of time, fly here and we'll learn together on the ones my brother has.

Speaking of Segway, this actually is cruise related, when we were in Tallinn last summer there was a Segway shop that was just opening the day we were there. We happened to walk by it when they were having their press interviews. We picked up a brochure and they said they would be doing tours as well as sales. I have to make sure I have the info handy when it gets closer to sailing. I'll also look up to see if they had a website listed so it can go on the 1st post.

ATTENTION BARB!!!!!
I booked the REAS package, we have brunch at 10:30 on our sea day and dinner in Palo on my anniversary! We need to decide on excursions now! Andrew will book them for us! Isn't he just the greatest guy! :lmao:

Ok, I'm confused, is this a different cruise?

Water heaters have sophisticated perpetual clocks built in to make sure they always go out on a weekend or Holiday. This is, by the way, the final proof of of an evolutionary theory called "unintelligent design" which ensures that illness will strike, accidents will happen and fevers will spike shortly after:
A: Your doctor goes on vacation or the office closes.
B: Your local low cost clinic has closed for the evening or weekend.
C: The emergency room gets a sudden rush of patients, all of whose cases are just a tiny bit more serious than yours thus ensuring a long and boring wait during which your condition will continue to worsen - while still remaining not as serious as the cases that continue to arrive.

:rolleyes1

See I was thinking the same thing, but wasn't going to word it half as eloquently.
You're a lawyer, right ?

While this is very funny, it is so true. :scratchin :upsidedow

I totally agree with this!

Regarding Segwaying, a few years ago, a group of DISers and I took the Segway tour in EPCOT. Boy did we laugh and have fun. The only downfall was that my group was feisty and the tour guide had no sense of humor. It was pretty funny. It's not hard but uneven surfaces and downhills made me nervous.

Yes, this is for the 4-night we have in May, less than 105 days to sailing. Caro & I are celebrating our 25th Anniversary. We had originally planned a 7 night Eastern, but Alana's band will be going to Southern California on the Friday of that week and we wanted to go see them too. It turns out the 4-night is the PODCAST cruise.

Cool U will have to give is the low down on what Pete & the Crew are like in person!:thumbsup2

Are they as opinionated & cynical?:lmao: :rotfl2:

REAS isnt available on cruises of over 10 nights and hasnt been released for 2010 as yet either,I assumed talking re another cruise as posted Palo booked and we are no where near booking window, at least a year off as my 09 105 day mark is May.
That's what I thought, but I wanted to make sure they didn't come out with a new REAS package deal. I'm usually the last to know about these things;)

I tried the Segway at Epcot. A bit nervous at first, but yes easy enough that even us clutzy people can do it:thumbsup2

Now what do you do with the segway if you want to make a stop ? Or do you just ride around to see the sites and return the segway when you want to explore more extensively ?
They have a segway tour of DC that Laura (eeyorlvr) went on last year that I wanted to try. Maybe I'll practice here so I'm comfortable to try it in Tallinn.

See :cool1: Glad I'm not the only one that was confused:lmao: :thumbsup2

I would be nervous going downhill as well. I'm not a speed person:upsidedow

That sounds like fun. Several years ago I tried one out at Disneyland. I was really pathetic. Apparently you have to have the slightest bit of coordination to ride one, and considering I was one of "those" picked last in sports at school well you get the pciture!:teeth:

I was one of 'those' as well. I hated gym class.

Caro & I (or Barb & Caro) will report back as to the Segway and the PODCAST Crew. When they were interviewing me, they seemed like fun people.

That sounds like fun! We can have a Ballyhooer Segway Tour! The city better watch out! :rotfl2:

I'm sure I'll do my fair share of screaming and falling in Nassau!

coordination? What's that? You're talking to the one that fell down the stairs and out the door in Tinkerbell's Toy Shop! Also got her fingers caught under the belt of the sewing machine in the Main St Hat Shop!

I was one of 'those' as well. I hated gym class.
We'll hang out together! That was me too!

I think you just tip it in the opposite direction.:scared:

Anyone notice Tizzie was missing all weekend?:confused3

I did. I hope she's not in a 'tizzie' or having a 'tizzie' with the kids or DH. Maybe she's been banned from the laptop by Josh.

'Morning Izzi, you'll be reading this soon. :wave2: :grouphug:

and why exactly does your brother own a Segway? Where does he use it?
Actually my brother has 2 Segways, 1 for him and 1 for my nephew. They live in town and use them to ride all over. The actual real town is small and the area around it has grown up and they are about 1 mile or so from the center of the action. But it came in very handy for him last year when he had shoulder surgery and couldn't drive, so he would Segway all over town. It was pretty funny driving by him seeing him trolling down the sidewalk with his empty sleeve flapping while his arm was in a sling, to make it worse it was a bright red Mickey jacket he was wearing. After I made fun of him doing that he decided to tuck the sleeve in so no one else noticed that. He can't ride it to work since work is 24 miles away and it's range is only 22 miles and it would take him 2 hours to get there. They go 12½ mph.
My nephew has gotten creative using it, he traded the town cop a ride on it so he could get into the high school football game for free. :scratchin
My brother also went to Indianapolis last summer to a Segway convention.
He really would love to be able to take one to WDW to use, but WDW does not allow that.

He bought them used from a company that does Segway tours around Philadelphia.

I take it that's more than you wanted to know about Segways?!? :confused3 :rotfl2: :lmao:
