MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!​

Merry Christmas.........just a few more hours and then it's over for another year! We are just chillin', all our guests have left........whew! Hope all are well and relaxing......what's everyone doing for New Years??

Merry Christmas Everyone! I hope Santa was especially nice to all of you! He was very nice to me. Got a new toy to play with - the new Canon 50D. It really was by default. Turns out that DD has decided to take digital photography next semester and since she needs a camera - she wins by default. Now the bad part? The body kit that the new camera came with is a 18-200 mm lens with image stabilizer. I had to pay close to $1400 last year for one similar but that one only goes reaches 24-105 mm. But the quality if better. So my new dilemna is give her the new lens or give her my expensive one. I told her I'd probably give her the new lens but when we went to Europe in April I would be taking that one as I believe I can cut down on 2 lenses for that one. Decisions, Decisions, Decisions.

Anyway, we are off tomorrow for Vegas. We should be there until the 5th of January. So if I don't get a chance to check in - EVERYONE - HAVE A SAFE AND JOYOUS NEW YEAR. We will be all bundled up nice and warm in the hotel party celebration with my in-laws and my girls. My son has decided not to join us - I guess he'll be having his own celebration in my house. So for now - and

I was just thinking, it so nice to plan these cruises because the highlight of our year isn't just Christmas but also our embarkation day!! We've got about 6 months to wait.........

Found out that my sister is going on a RCCL Baltic cruise this spring with nearly all the ports the same but start and end in Harwich, Essex.

Actually we had a lovely day yesterday when my family came over BUT today we went over to my In-laws and unfortunately Paul's family have no idea how to behave and Paul got fedup and very upset so we left after a couple of hours

OK no offense but GOODIE! Now I don't feel so bad. My family doesn't know how to behave either. Nice to know there are others in the same boat! (Although at our wedding it was Steve's family that didn't behave..... )

Well, we were supposed to leave today at about 1 pm to pass the Cajon Pass w/o snow. DH decides he's going to pull an all-nighter playing some stupid computer game. Now my furr kids are whining for the W-word (W A L K) so I may just have to give it the them. Its very windy and cold - OK - ok only about 51 degrees but the wind chill factor makes it feel colder! ( )

Anyway, happy and safe travels to everyone leaving today - stay safe - Julie please soak up some rays for us too!
