OK Tonights dinner was the world famous legendary Christmas Turkey Tikka Masala, known as the CTTM in my house.

Basically formed of need when we buy ( every year ) a far too large Turkey, and get fed up with Turkey dinner, Turkey sandwiches, Turkey buffet.

This dinner is nearly as famous as my Chicken ding recipe.

For the CTTM, you go to the fridge and clear out every last bit of Turkey ( when the Mrs is out).

Put it in a pot with- you guess it Tikka Masala sauce, and onions carrots and any left over Veg, and cook it for an hour.-And No *&%** swearing allowed.

And all the Turkey is gone for this year.-Whoopiedo.

For those of you who want to know my Chicken ding recipe I will repeat it below.

CHICKEN DING (You might want a pen and paper)

  • Get one chicken.
  • Wash the Chicken.
  • Put it in the Microwave.
  • Set it to the Chicken automatic time.

Wait for Microwave to go:-

DING.

And its all done.

Thank you for the clever recipes, I'll add them to my box........:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Since we aren't traveling this year, we've been eating most of our leftovers.........:dance3: .............no shopping for us, I'm completely burnt out for that, I've been slowly cleaning up from the holiday.

We have made it as far as the Magic Express Check in. Our flight from Seattle was delayed, causing us to miss the connection in Atlanta. We were directed to the next gate and when it was loading we found out we were not on that one. We got new boarding passes and went to grab breakfast, thinking we were on a 10:30 AM flight. WRONG, they had scheduled us on a 10:30 PM flight, arriving at MCO at 11:15 PM.:confused3 :confused3

I got us on a 11:50 AM flight that was delayed until 12:20 as they did not have any flight attendants.

But we made it here and Caro is checking us in for the bus to WDW. We left the house about 15 hours ago.

Wow, what a hassle! I guess the delays were weather related? Have a great time now that you're finally there! I'm wondering when you were supposed to get there? Enjoy the sun for me! :woohoo: :cloud9:

Glad you made it safely, sorry it's been a bit of a performance. At least this way things can only get better

Good point!:thumbsup2 We're off to the movies.........:cutie: I guess this is what people do when they don't travel, go to the gym, clean up, go to the movies........:confused3

Yep learning all the swear words so I can get my cooking programme on TV

The Morrocan resturant is very nice, the food is delicious and you really must try the mint tea after your food it's quite lovely

Linda and I have always wanted to eat there, but we're afraid the kids wouldn't like it. I'll have to look over their menu again before I make ADR's for our Aug trip.

We've done just about every sit down in EPCOT except Germany (never really appealled) as we like to do a sit down family meal every night as a time to have a rest before we go off round the parks again

We like to eat at a lot of sit down restaurants for those reasons too. plus, with Linda's allergy, it's much easier to find out what food is safe at the sit-downs. They have ingredient lists at the counter service places, but they usually don't know what's in any products that are supplied from an outside vendor (which often includes the baked goods, which is where her allergy issue lies.)

I'm glad you able to arrive safe and sound, even if it was a marathon travel day to get there. have a great time!

What movie did you see, and was it good?

We all got a lot of movie gift cards for Christmas, and there are some movies that look really good that just came out.

Hello Mike nice to see you around seems everyone is away, rather quite.

Hope you holidays has gone well.

OMG I went to our local shopping center this morning and the only shop that was busy was Hollister :scared1: The queue to even get in the shop was 45 mins :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: and then people were grabbing stuff off the shelves like it was going out of date :scared1:

Whilst I was waiting to get in to the shop I started talking to the lady standing behind me, she said she'd been there yesterday as well and the queue was like that ALL DAY and and that she'd given up but her daughter had gone in and then had to queue up for 50 mins just to pay :scared1: :scared1:

There are only 2 Hollister shops here in London and it seems as if this one was the only shop talking any real money in the shopping center, in fact the kids at the till couldn't take the money quick enough it was crazy even though everyone, including the kids that work there, were complaining about the dreadful lighting (or lack of it :scared1: ) the loud music and the shmbles of a shop layout :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: All in all I would say it's not very conducive to a pleasant shopping experience but why would the CEO change it as they sure are taking the money. :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

We've gone there since the kids were small. When they were little they used to order off the kids menu which is the standard fare i.e. chicken pieces, pasta etc, now they order off the main menu gorgous soft meat, rice etc it really is a great place to eat :thumbsup2

Our local shops /shopping center have been very very busy, queues everywhere, so it seems different parts of London are reacting in different ways, I found ( as usual) food shops empty, everyone has purchased too much food, but apart from that, people are buying anything on sale.

Massive 'Next' sale bags for example on everyone.

The shame is my Woolworths closed Saturday, and everything was sold, even fittings.

I always feel claustrophobic when I shop at that store.......but, you're right, my kids like the clothes there (mostly in summer though).

Clothes for kids is just right, everything is sooooooooooo small even though it is quite stretchy :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I did get myself a couple of long sleeve tshirts and a pair of jogging bottoms for lounging around in though as I liked the colours :lmao: :lmao:

Yes, I wish I could still wear that stuff, it's definitely my dream life (summer stuff)

HELLO ALL MY BALLYHOOERS!!!!!

We are having a great time, weather is wonderful! We did have quite the time getting here though with flight problems. Spent the evening at the Magic Kingdom last night. Girls did Space Mountain for the first time and LOVED it! Went on IASW and thought of our Ballyhooers!
Today we spent the morning and early afternoon at AK until it started getting busy. Came back to the room, girls swam and Andrew and I napped. Going to the Studios tonight.
Going to ketchup now!

We were supposed to get into Orlando around 9:15 and got in around 2:00 instead. It really made for quite the long night/day. As Izzi said though, we made it though!

We'll let you know what the girls think! The menu looks delicious! I must say I LOVE the dining plan! I had a Mickey Bar before lunch today, just because I wanted it and a Rice Krispie treat with lunch! I'm loving the not worrying about how much an entree costs and ordering it anyway!
