For all those who don't have Estonian currency - I have some you can look at.

CoolWe could do it together! I'll be wearing my "Return Me" badge . . .![]()
Gotta check the floor plan to get the name of that loungeThat's the bar area I was thinking of.
We just booked the DCL Russian Folklore for the 2nd evening. We didn't want to do the ballet and although we will be exhausted, we really didn't want to be on the ship, looking over at St. Petersburg, knowing we can't get off and probably won't visit there again. The folklore show seemed to get good reviews so we said, why not?

Promenade Lounge - just need to make sure there is no other activity planned there. They often do trivia, pictionary, etc. there.

Yes, that's Diversions!Yeah, you're right. Just looked at the first cruise's navigator and the promenade lounge is practically booked on the sea day.
But Diversions might be free (around 3:15 or so).
Assuming our schedule is pretty close to theirs.
Is that the one where they have the Wii? My DH loved playing wii bowling last time.
Those of you doing the canal tour with Anastasia...
what time are you going on the canal tour and what time are you going to do dinner?
Our group right now is scheduled for 5:30-6:30 for the cruise and 6:50-8:50 for dinner. It might be fun if a group of us were on the same boat!
After reading the reviews I cancelled the canal tour with Anastasia for shopping at the end of the first day!

Welcome aboard! We have a daughter that turned 11 in March! This is her 4th cruise, I'm sure she'd be happy to show Abigail the ropes!
If I may ask, what made you move to Switzerland?
I WANT OUR ANASTASIA STUFF!!!!!
Thanks, Abby is going to try and meet at Scoops first day - I am sure she would love the help. Switzerland was just about a job I could not pass up. Too good of am opportunity. We always wanted to try living overseas and this was the chance.

Wow you all sure have been busy today. It took me an hour just to catch up with everyone's posts.
We have exactly 7 days before we head over to the UK for our pre-trip.I feel really good about all I got done this weekend. DS and DD are packed.
Yeah!!! I am almost packed and DH is in charge of himself. (Which means we may have to do a little shopping when we get there!)
To answer all of the questions today: The kids are taking there pirate ears but, that is all. And no for Villians night. Just too much to pack especially since we are bringing tuxes for the boys. We are sticking with DCL excursions mixed with a little DIY. Finally we are going mainly on plastic. I think I will pick up a little foreign currency from each country when we get on the boat. (Money seems to be my last big stress.)
Hope everyone has a great night. Thanks for all the great discussions and info.
My DS16 has slept in before, don't remember exactly how late, but they made up the room as soon as he leftWe are so happy that our teenage Grandson is on the cruise with us. But we've never cruised with a teen before and I was wondering about something.
If he sleeps in, at what time is it too late to have the room cleaned ? When it is just DH and myself we're usually out of the cabin by 9 or 10 on sea days.
Yes Diversions has Wii. I think Rockin Bar D often has less action during the day? I would think the past few cruises has also has had meets, maybe DCL has a good plan to help out.

We are shopping ,also at the end of the 1st day with Anastasia. We have requested to shop at the Leningrad Dept store ( or what the locals call the DLT store ). It sounds similar to Harrods...huge. But one large open area with a balcony selling just souvenirs, like nesting dolls, laquer boxes, painted eggs, etc. DH read about it in the Insight Guide to St P. They said it was the best prices for souvenirs. You might want to check it out. Anastasia added it to our itinerary.
Ask the cabin Steward he will tell you his schedule, It will only be for the few sea days anyway! We are so happy that our teenage Grandson is on the cruise with us. But we've never cruised with a teen before and I was wondering about something.
