Ok, glad no permanent damage

So who really leaves for vacation mentally way before the sail date

I'm packing in my head while I'm suppose to be concentrating on work

I have mentally packed at least 5 times already.

So for a formal DIS meet on the ship we have the following options:

Embarktion day-Promenade lounge (around 3 or 3:30?)

First Sea Day
Rockin Bar D-before 3:00
Diversions - 3-4

or secret deck 7???

or meet in lobby at a preferred day/time and find a spot based on what the navigator says is available

Anyone have any other suggestions?

I would say First Sea Day would be best. It seems like there is already too much to do on Embarkation Day.

I agree, the choices listed on the sea day probably would be best.

Had a great Wonder cruise and found out some of the CM's that will be on our Dream cruise and our AK cruise. They are getting excited about a new ship or new locations.

We took one on our Med 07 cruise with no problem but I've heard that certain items are being removed from checked luggage and or carry on luggage. I like to have my own iron with me as I have ruined clothes by using the laundry room iron

Never heard of anyone taking something from checked luggage. I do think I read somewhere that it might be against the rules to have an iron in your room for safety reasons, but never heard of them being confiscated.
We just usually send out some things to be pressed as soon as we unpack on the first day. If we have room we'll pack the spray dewrinkler (forget the name of it) for regular clothes. If you see us mostly wrinkled it means I ran out of room or forgot it

People may want to pack allergy meds as well-they posted that it could be rough at some of the ports for those with pollen allergies.

I always carry the travel size Downey Wrinkle Release...works wonders !

Ships usually ban travel irons.....considered a fire hazard.

When I pack I layer my clothes with plastic dry cleaning bags...really helps.

I usually iron stuff before packing but not sure that is going to happen this trip - so more than likely we will be wrinkly - decided that it is not a major issue - just happy to be there
