6pm MK NYE fireworks from Poly Beach for dinner guests

I know that the late fireworks on NYE are for dinner and hotel guests only for the beach at Poly. Is it the same for the earlier firework show? We have a 7:40pm reservation at Ohana and will probably get there a little early so it would be nice to watch from the beach, not sure how that would work if we hadn't dined yet though if they do check.
