C. Ann and NativeTxn, GOD is an essential element of 9-11. If he/she is indeed all-powerful, then he/she ALLOWED this murderous event to occur. If GOD isn't all-powerful, then believers really can't expect to be delivered from EVIL ......

The other folks are correct in that this thread is about the 63 infants born after the attacks.

I must ask again my brother. If there is no God, where do YOUR morals come from? Are they just "picked" out of mid air?

What do you base "good and bad" on???? If not God then what a feeling an intuition

I'm confused...Are we to believe that YOU are the "most Knowledgeable"

Who Knows? Maybe it will all just "Fall into place in it's own time"

Perhaps, Eros, I was just commenting on the topic of this thread. The focus of this thread was on the 63 babies <b>not</b> the existence, or lack thereof, of God.

You could always start another thread Eros, to debate this issue.

DAN sees hope enveloped by the births of these 63 babies. I too am HOPEFUL for their futures, but the absence of their fathers only causes me despair ...........

Eros, part of me agrees with you as I'm agnostic...but to infiltrate so many posts with anti-God sentiment does nothing for your argument. I think some posts should be left agenda free and this is one of them.

Posting stuff like this on a thread about the children who will never know their fathers because of 9/11 doesn't sit well with anyone. If you post these things to truly make your point, then it isn't working. If you post these things to get a rise out of people, then I guess it is working.

If fellow DIS'ers choose to believe in God, all the power to them...why discourage that? Even if you don't believe you should take comfort in the fact that these people have something that makes them feel better about the situation. Don't try to take that away.

This of course is just my humble opinion.
