We are coming last week in August and trying to figure out our park days to reserve (which ones and when).

Park days are Sunday - Friday. Staying at Contemporary.

Our kids really enjoyed Epcot last time so was thinking: 2 days at MK, 2 days at Epcot, 1 day at HS, 1 day at AK with something like:
  • Sun: MK
  • Mon: Epcot
  • Tues: HS
  • Wed: AK
  • Thurs: MK
  • Fri: EP (note: This will most likely be a party day so MK will close at 6pm)
But since we are Canadian and with rules as of now, we are going to have to uber offsite on the Thurs or Friday for a few hours to get a PCR in order to fly home.

At Epcot, our family loves Test Track and Soarin, but I'm looking at the rides nothing else is a "must" (maybe Frozen and Remy but hose are pay rides or boarding for Remy).

Knowing this, would you keep the schedule above? Or I'm thinking maybe we should replace second EP day with another MK day as below? (also a plus as we are staying at Contemporary). If we did this, am thinking to purchase Genie+ for Epcot day to ensure we get on everything at least once.

  • Sun: MK
  • Mon: Epcot
  • Tues: HS
  • Wed: AK
  • Thurs: MK --> leave mid afternoon to get PCR tests, reutrn to park late afternoon
  • Fri: MK (MK will probably close at 6pm)
Thoughts?

I’d recommend swapping HS and MK to take advantage of the low crowds on Sunday at HS and on Tuesday at MK. IMO Epcot needs at least 1 + 1/2 days if you want to do World Showcase.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm looking at past years and I think the Halloween party typically is held on Tuesdays and Fridays during August? If so, we wouldn't want MK on Tuesday as we would have to leave by 6pm. It's also nice starting with MK.
For World Showcase, we'll probably visit but our main focus is the attractions (which I think includes a few as well).

I see ok! So in world showcase there’s the Gran Caballeros ride, Frozen Ever After, Remy’s Ratoutuille ride, the China show, the Canada show. Would you be interested in those?

Yes for the first three (but if can't make Remy or Frozen, not end of the world). The China and Canada show not as much of a priority (we're from Canada..lol)

I would keep a second Epcot day we visit every few years and usually need a day and a half to 2 days. In addition to what was said by other posters we like Living with the land, Mission Space, Spaceship Earth, and Nemo. Also American Adventure is a great show. We just saw the new movie in Canada and really liked it. We also like the movie in France but they have the Beauty and the Beast Sing A Long during the day and the movie only at night. There is also Club Cool to try the different sodas. We also like walking around the different countries and there are many great restaurants. Plus Harmonius the new nighttime show.

Thank you. Will probably skip Mission Space, but interested in the remaining rides. Will take note of the other items you mentioned as well. Ok...so maybe we should stick with the original schedule. Just need to figure out how to fit in the offiste PCR test with losing minimal park time.
