6 Nights of Chicken Wings, Car Accidents, and Calorie Laden Meals! 1/26 COMPLETE

That pumpkin cupcake sounds fantastic!! There is a French bakery here at the mall and this review is making me want to take a little walk this morning to get an eclair! It's pretty early this morning but those fries are looking good too. It will be all your fault if I end up at Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch today instead of eating the Healthy Choice meal that I brought. ;) I'm so easily influenced!

Yummmmm cupcakes! I would love to try the pumpkin maple version! Your eclair at Starring Rolls looks delish! Your description was perfect - I can almost taste it! :upsidedow

Good to know that the buffalo nuggets made Corey happy! They do like like they were tossed in Frank's Red Hot. ;)

Love your pics! :)

Aw thank you so much!:)
Of course!! I been looking forward to ur review!!! :woohoo: That sux about ur brand new VB bag!! :worried:

The veggies burger seemed like a good choice for a late meal. Fried green tomatoes are such a treat!!:thumbsup2 I might get that just for it!:duck:
No it didn't really get ruined. I just wiped it off and couldn't really notice it. I have never even had fried green tomatoes! I should try it if I can every find them.
Sorry, this isn't related to the topic, but thanks for this! I am going to stock up on veggie burgers at home so when I feel like eating something but don't want all that carbs I won't have to feel that guilty with my weight loss! :rotfl2:

btw, the veggie burger looks soo good!!!!

I love veggie burgers! The black bean veggie burger is my fave. I think its Morningstar Farms

The veggie burger looks pretty tasty! I'd try that especially if it had a spicy sauce.

Like you, I'm not a cark chocolate fan so the Mickey ganache doesn't really appeal to me but I can see where others may rave about it.

Sorry about your VB bag oops!
Yeah it was wayy too chocolatey! From what i read there is a similar treat at Disneyland but I think that treat is milk chocolate. I would like that better.

You know what else?
Turkey burgers are what I look for on a restaurant menu. Delish & much lighter!! ;) [which I NEED!!!] I like a spicy sauce on them like Brenda!! Yummm!!! I get good ones @ Red Robin & TGIFridays.
I love turkey burgers too! :)

Great reviews. I did not care for Boma when I dined there.

Now you have me wanting to try the Kona Island place. The sushi looked good. I had the sushi at California Grill last month and it was incredible.

Earl is good but the line is crazy.

Looking forward to more.

I would love to eat at CG! The rolls there look amazing. You definitely should try the Kona Island place. It is good because no ressie needed and it is a nice low key meal.

Coming over from your TR to join in here. Loving your reviews as always !!

Aw yay you are here!!! I hope you do another dining review for your next trip! I always love your reviews.

Cappuccino looks AMAZING and the eclair looks so creamy on the inside.

the salad and pizza doesn't look tempting lol im not a fan on pumpkin as well :crazy2:

The eclair was def creamy!! Haha about the salad and pizza. They weren't great.

That pumpkin cupcake looks awesome! :thumbsup2 And I agree, that is a sad looking salad! :rolleyes1

It was super good!! I just loved the frosting

The hot nuggets look good! & the cup is so cute for Halloween!!

I have been to the french bakery!:thumbsup2 I tried the creme brulee from there. It was terrible!!! Hahah. Are you gearing up for the busy season at your store??

It was soo good! Do you have any plans for a next trip to Disney World?? You could go at October!
The pumpkin cupcake sounds amazing loving your reviews xx
Thanks for reading!!:thumbsup2

Those cupcakes look amazing to me right now! Thanks for sharing. I'm loving your pictures!

Ugh so mad. I just deleted half of my review. Oh well I will start over.

Dinner tonight was at 'Ohana at 8:05pm. I was really excited to see Hallowishes at 9pm.

When we get to 'Ohana there had to be at least 30 parties waiting to be sat. I have never seen it that crowded before. I was really worried because I didn't want to have to wait a long time.

I decided to order a Lapu Lapu while we waited. Corey went to the bathroom and handed me a $20 and said the drink was on him. What a guy! Even though we live together we don't share our finances yet. We pretty much just split everything evenly.

IMG_2081.jpg

It was good but super strong. I don't remember it being that strong before. I got tipsy quickly! Haha.

We actually got sat really quickly. Only about after 15 minutes.

They led us to our table and it was a table that should be for a two top. It was also the darkest table in the restaurant. We were by a window and there wasn't any lights around us. Corey and I sat at this table as a 2 top before and it was the perfect amount of room. It would be fine for a 3 at a regular restaurant but one where piles of food are placed on your table it just wasn't that great. Oh well, I was willing to have a not so good table to be seated quickly.

Corey and Emily were both freezing. I wasn't that cold because my insides were warm from the Lapu Lapu!

They started us off with the pineapple coconut bread which I don't love. I like the flavor but I wish it was more soft and fluffy like Kona. It is kind of hard and dry.

IMG_2083.jpg

Then we got the salad in the honey lime vinaigrette. I really love this salad but it was doused in dressing this time. There was a lot of dressing on the bottom, like an inch of dressing! I don't mind the amount of dressing but other people might.

IMG_2084.jpg

Then we got the potstickers and the wings. I love these postickers dipped in the spicy peanut sauce. My favorite! They gave us a plate for a large party. We saw other people with smaller portions that had 3 people. There was like 20 wings and 20 potstickers on ours! They must know we like to eat.

The potstickers are really crispy on the outside but I like them. Some people don't like them that crispy. They are very consistent whenever I eat there

IMG_2085.jpg

IMG_2086.jpg

We then started with our meats.

I probably ate like 25 shrimp. I love these shrimp. They started butterflying the shrimp so they are soo much easier to peel.

IMG_2096.jpg

Oh yes, I forgot the noodles and the broccoli. Once again, we got the large platter size. I don't like those noodles, too sweet for me, but Emily really liked them. I love the flavor of the broccoli. They are sweet spicy and cooked perfectly, a little mushy, but how I like them!

IMG_2092.jpg

The steak was pretty good this time. A little tough but not too bad. It was so dark at our table that we couldn't really check to see if the pieces were fatty until after we ate them and had to spit the fat out. Gross..

And here is where our chicken wings from the title came in. We had so many chicken wings and Corey and I don't eat them and emily wasn't eating them either. About this time she started to eat the chicken wings because she felt bad thinking about how many chickens have died for these wings and we weren't going to eat them. She probably had 10 chicken wings! She texted her boyfriend who is a huge chicken wing fan and he told her she had to eat some. So she ate them so the chickens didn't die for nothing.

I don't know why but we were laughing so hard talking about the chicken wings. We must have been slap happy!

Sorry for the bad pics. It was really dark in there.
IMG_2090.jpg

The chicken was really good and flavorful. I just love that sauce on the chicken.
IMG_2095.jpg

We then had the bread pudding.

We got a corner piece and I prefer the middle piece so I didn't eat a lot. It was still good though! On hindsight I wish I would have had seconds!
IMG_2109.jpg

During the middle of our meal we got to watch Hallowishes. It was so cool to see Hallowishes from here. I loved how the fireworks went all around MK, not just around the castle. I was surprised at how much narration there was and not as much music. I definitely like the christmas fireworks better but these were cool. I loved seeing a piece of the halloween party and not having to pay. At first we had a perfect view with no people in the way but then we had some people in the way and it was hard to see. I tried to take some pics of the fireworks but they weren't too good.

Our server was decent. We were rushed a little but but that is just the nature of 'Ohana. It didn't make us like our meal any less. 'Ohana is a fast paced restaurant and you just have to accept that when you eat here. We just kept eating and eating so we paced it out!

It was really good and I still love 'Ohana as much as I did in 2010, our first time there!

i followed your pretr but didnt see this to just now, so joining in.

I would order this again but I might want to try the chicken burger before this.

The french fries were great too. They had the perfect amount of seasoning. And it is nice to have seasoned french fries as I don't use ketchup or any dipping sauce. I think this was my first time ever ordering french fries at WDW.
it looks like from the picture they use the same spicy sauce on that burger they did on the chicken burger they have for breakfast...if you didnt have it it was wonderful i really enjoyed it.

andi agree with you on the fries they were awesome no ketchup needed at all.

For dessert I ordered the cute Mickey Ganache.

It is a thick dark chocolate ganache filling in a chocolate cookie crust.

I took one bite of this and couldn't eat it anymore. It is really dark chocolate and I am not a dark chocolate fan. It was just too chocolatey, especially for 10:30pm. I ended up taking one bite and putting the rest in our fridge for Corey. He never touched it!

IMG_1828.jpg
sorry you didnt like this desert, i might have to steal your picture, forgot to take one of my own when we had this. and when i had mine the chocolate form the inside just oozed out wasnt solid like yours...but we enjoyed it well what i had i did, my son took the majority of it from me.
:thumbsup2

I so LOVE 'Ohana dinner!!! :thumbsup2 I'm craving those pot stickers too. I had one wing so my chicken is left flying in circles! I think we had a 2 top table that they added a chair to one side as well. How cool that you could see Hallowishes during dinner!

I LOVE 'Ohana as well!! I pretty much like everything they serve so they have to roll me out of there. It's so good! I'm laughing about your friend eating so many chicken wings :rotfl2: I'm sure those chickens appreciated her effort.

By the way - I think a DISmeet at Lambeau sounds like a fantastic idea, don't you? I told Brenda that she and Michael should come to game early in the season when it's not so cold because I'm such a freeze baby.

i just came back from Disney last week. I am sad that I didn't get to see your review on the Lapu Lapu. I would've love to try that :sad1:

I am trying one of those Lapu Lapu's one of these days !!! Enjoying all of your reviews !!

First of all I wanted to post some holiday pictures from this weekend. Of my tree, of my disney village, Lola, and the snow we got.

Now time for the review of Cinderella's Royal Table for Breakfast.

Emily and I were sooo incredibly excited to eat here. And I mean soooo!

I booked this for just us two since Corey didn't want to meet the princesses.

Emily is a huge Aurora fan so I wanted her meet with her to be extra special.

Our reservation was at 8:35 so it was going to be before the park opening, until MK decided to open up at 8am a couple of weeks prior! I was really looking forward to walking in to an open MK! Oh well, it was still pretty empty.

I am just going to post a couple of non food pictures. You enter in and then take your picture with Cinderella and then you walk up this amazing grandiose staircase to the dining area.

Cinderella's new dress and look is amazing. She was beautiful!

IMG_2166.jpg

IMG_2169.jpg

We sat down at our beautiful table which was on the upper level. I was hoping for a window table but I was happy with where we sat.

There was wands and wishing stars at our table. Such a nice touch for us. We are children at heart so we were super happy about this.

IMG_2172.jpg

You start with a plate of pastries and breads. I wanted to take it easy so I had the cinnamon rolls. They were light and fluffy but you could tell they weren't homemade.

IMG_2171.jpg

The thing that they were really missing from this breakfast was a fruit plate. At 50 pp they really should have a bowl of fruit. The two strawberries on this plate doesn't count, haha. I know they used to have fruit!

I ordered the filet mignon and egg frittata.

IMG_2178.jpg

I really like this. It got cold pretty quickly because the princesses started to come around.

The egg was a mound of scrambled eggs formed in a patty with carmelized onions on it. This was very good and had a bit of a kick which was perfect! The steak was flavorful but not the best filet ever. The potatoes were good but nothing special.

Emily ordered the lobster crepe.
IMG_2176.jpg

Snow White and Jasmine were so pretty. Belle is my favorite but she is no longer there.

IMG_2175.jpg

IMG_2189.jpg

After the princesses came around I realized most of my meal was cold so I ordered the lobster crepe! It is a crepe with a cheese mixture and crab and lobster on top with hollandaise sauce and a poached egg.

IMG_2190.jpg

This was very good. It was a little too sweet inside and I would prefer more savory inside the crepe. The hollandaise sauce with crab and lobster was delicious. I didn't love the poached egg. It was a little too watery especially once the yolk broke.

I didn't prefer one or either entree over the over but I liked both of them! I think I would do the same thing and ordered two entrees to try next time.

I liked the food but wish there was a fruit plate during this meal.

Before we left we asked to get a picture in front of the restaurant.
IMG_2196.jpg

This experience was just spectacular! I loved eating in the castle and so did Emily. It was so special for us and it really made our disney World experience so much better. We were on Cloud 9 for a while after our meal. It will always be a special memory for us. I would go back again but maybe not with Corey!

Your tree is lovely and the snow... oh my gosh - so perfect for the holiday. Lola is adorable! That's a great photo of the two of you by the tree. :cutie:

I'm a little scared of having the filet for breakfast at CRT since I don't think I've seen anyone actually say that it was good. The lobster crepes look good but I'm not a poached egg lover so that wouldn't work. Em asked for and received a bowl of fruit at CRT but it was mostly melon and she doesn't like that so... if you like melon and grapes I think they have some pre-made fruit bowls available.

That's a great photo of you and Emily before you left CRT.

While the snow is pretty I hate snow! Haha. I just hate the cold weather.

I like that picture too even though I look like a bum!

I think a problem with the filet is that it is cut into slices so it probably isn't freshly grilled which makes it a little drier than usual. It was still good though and came out medium how I asked.

Good to know about the bowl of fruit!

I know I love that picture of the two of us!!

I would go back again but maybe not with Corey!

This is why I'm scared I'll NEVER get to eat in the castle :scared1:, all i have is my husband and son (20 months now) and I'm guessing neither will care to go. I know some men go with their wives/girlfriends but if its overly girly I don't think I will get my men to go. Same with the Tea at the GF. I love the snow we just got but then again I don't have to commute within the metro so I just get to enjoy how it looks! Everytime I see another review of Ohana I am happy its our first meal of our trip this January! Everything looks so good! Oh and your pup is SOOO cute!

Mmmmm...that breakfast looked yummy!! We've done lunch a few times, but never breakfast.
Now I want to...LOL!

Love Lola!! Is she a maltipoo? I ask because I have a one and she looks alot like my Schatzi (except for color)

Your 'Ohanas experience was better than ours. Food was cold and blah.

The castle meal looked good. maybe we will try it in December next year.

Great review of the CRT!! You can tell by the pictures, you both had a blast!!!

SOOOOO! I just found out I was invited to a meeting/training/workshop in Orlando on Jan 8th and 9th!!!!!! That means I am making a trip out of it!! Just me, myself, and I!!! I arrive on Sat Jan 5th and then switch to the work hotel at the end of the day on Monday the 7th! I know it is short notice but I am super excited!!

I am staying at POP and so far all I have as a ressie is Crystal Palace Breakfast!!!

But I still want one arrival dinner, I am thinking a signature (wish Cali Grill was open)?? One MK Dinner (Kona or GFC), Two Epcot restaurants, I am thinking Monsier Paul(might be too fancy for me though), Les Chefs de France ( wouldn't do both of those), Coral Reef, San Angel?

anyone have any suggestions on where to eat by myself? Where I can be tucked away in a corner?? Lol. I haven't really ate by myself but I am willing to do it for Disney food!!
