So, we waited and waited and waited....
It was getting to the point of ridiculousness....it had been at least 1/2 hour, so I went up and nicely asked the girl where we stood. She proceeded to tell me that there was a very long wait, they were overbooked and that it would be a bit longer because we were a party of 10 and they were trying to get us tank side. While I appreciate their efforts, I had 6 hungry kids, it's now after 5 and we're all now sitting on the floor in the lobby because there is no where else to sit! I also confirmed that they had the surprises all figured out for us...the menus, cake, diver....and they told me they had no record of the cake! Now, I ordered this a month in advance, nothing special, just a small cake since we already got dessert with the dining plan, but something to acknowledge the boys birthdays. She told me she would have a manager out right away....ahh! This night wasn't off to a good start in my mind already and I couldn't share my frustration with the crowd since this was a surprise. The manager came out and put my mind at ease, told me that they did have a cake on hold and that things would be fine, he also apologized for the wait and said it shouldn't be much longer. So we waited....and waited....
And I was beginning to get upset, now remember they told us we couldn't go anywhere because if they called our names and our whole party wasn't present, they couldn't seat us but they kept us there for so long. It was like torture for the kids just sitting there, knowing Nemo was next door and we couldn't take them and not to mention it was getting to the point if we left, we couldn't go anywhere else or be seated easily, we were a party of 10!!!
So we waited some more
and no word of a lie.....we were not seated until after 6 p.m!!!!!!!!!!! Our ressie was at 4:40 p.m, an early dinner, with 6 hungry kids, one of which was now sleeping because he had a fit and fell asleep crying! Poor Coley!!
But on that same note, I selfishly was happy to have a sleeping baby in hopes we could enjoy our dinner without having a 17 mos. done within a minute...so they proceeeded to bring us to our tables, tank front facing. Yay! This may be okay afterall, the sat us and handed the boys their personalized menus, I thought we'd all get them, but just Lucas and Zach did, which was fine, they were free and very cute!
The inside, the special part!!
and some of the pics inside close up of Tracey and I...one from the hospital, this was us waiting for the guys to pick us up with our newborn sons!!
and this is a pic of us the weekend before we moved to MA, at Ethan's 3rd birthday party....
the menu part....
and the back, Lucas stayed busy while waiting for his dinner...
As soon as we sat, took a look at our menus, the divers were diving into the tank.....and we were barely ready!!!
Stay tuned!! (btw, waiting for pics from Adam for Coral Reef, I realized he had most of them!! sorry!!)
