6 day passes going away?

We are still selling the 6 day park hopper for $229/adult and $210/child. They are still available to buy. It's Sunday afternoon and they are still there.

I am a travel agent in Alberta, Canada. We generally book all our clients through Holiday House for packages or for passes only, but other tour operators sell them as well, but we just usually use them. (the company I work for.)

It's been awhile since we have done the add-on days, but for those asking about doing that, to add a day or more to the pass used to be very reasonable... more in line to how much it costs to go from a 4-day to a 5-day than the amount it would cost for a single day ticket...

Hopefully this is still the policy. Guess we will see soon enough :)

I think the big tour companies have bought up their passes for the whole year so are unaffected by the price increase. My passes were $229 and $211 for children for the 6 day hopper. They are valid until the end of 2012. The 5for3 passes offered recently in a promo was only valid until June I believe.

The 5 for 3 promo we were selling are good until Dec. 31st. That is with Fun Sun/Holiday House in Canada.

I was worried about this so i hopped onto the website on Saturday (aust time) and tried to buy my 6 day pass and the disneyland site wouldnt accept my card so i phoned Disneyland had basically no wait time (was 6pm Cali time) and booked it no dramas just have to pick it up at the ticket booths when i arrive in Oct

I'm not sure why Flightcenter wouldn't be able to offer it until the end of the year since I'm they would have been able to use Holiday House.

There's no reason they couldn't have. I'm sure they use Holiday House/Fun Sun. I'm looking at a booking right now for a client for Sep. 21 and they have the 5 for 3. They are not for sale anymore, but when they were, they were good until Dec 31st. We still have the hoppers at the old prices though.

Maybe to alleviate capacity/crowding issues this summer (following the reopening of DCA) they are trying to discourage guest from staying as long. I think you’ll find that the typical multi-day guest spends fewer dollars per day the longer they stay– so if they decrease the length of stay they can increase the overall revenue per day from guest crowding the park this summer.

I think you’ll see a six day and other promotional tickets reappear next Spring (if not something in the Fall). Something similar to the current January 4 – May 28 promotional tickets.

I just returned from a 5 day trip to DLR. 5 days wan't enough, we needed at least one more day, and that was before Carsland opened. We might need 7 days next year, and the annual pass is just cost prohibitive.

Are these tickets only available to Canadians? or can anybody take advantage of this deal? We're going in November so I'm looking for ticket deals.
