6/4/09 Wonder 3 Night

I smell a Hula-Hoop Hoopla Hoop-Off in the works! Who wants to be the official judges? popcorn:: Is there a time and place on CC? Just asking, NOT volunteering! :rolleyes1 You kids have fun! :cheer2:

It could be... lol. I do not remember the hula hoop contest when went before. I am sure if there is one, I know mine will be there to sign up. They love to do the hula hoop exercise on the Wii Fit. They actually do it outside with their own hula hoops.

I am going to look over the Navigators and see what all is going on.

I was thinking about just taking a drive :drive: somewhere.. Anyone got any suggestions where I could go?.

Jenni,

Do you really want us to tell you where to go? :bitelip: I thought this was a family oriented board, I can't believe you would make a suggestion like that? :crazy2: I can't believe you left yourself open like that for this kind of post. :jester: My suggestion would be to pack your bags and take your family out on the open sea. :boat:

Cliff,

How could I be so naive.. :rotfl2: Thank you for the suggestion! I knew you were good for something..and to update the FE.:goodvibes.

Jenni..

I am hoping to get school work done today. (this week and next week). So I can put focus on packing :scared1:

Have a great Day everyone!

Happy Birthday Belynda :flower3:

Thank you for the birthday wishes!

This is our last weekend to get everything together before we sail away! :yay:

Maggie,
I think you and family are leaving Sunday for Disney World. Have a fantastic time! :thumbsup2

To Everyone,
Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!

Hi Everybody! Well, we are mostly packed, just DD to go! Getting so excited - I hope I don't forget anything! I have the docs, the passports, the FE list with room numbers!

This year, DH said...let's just do carry-on! OMG, I tried, but it was impossible. So we are checking one bag, the rest carry on. Looks the weather pattern in Florida is back to normal - that's a huge relief!

Now, just ..... a ton of work today, a last-day-of-school party, two soccer games, a gymnastics meet, and another day after the last day of school party... then we go first thing Sunday morning!

I'll try to post from WDW on DH's computer, but if I don't....see you all at the meet and greet!

Best birthday wishes to all! And safe travels!:yay:

Packing? hmmm...Wednesday night here since we leave about 730 or so Thursday morning...and remember, this is a 3 day and generally casual (except for Palo)...so put back about 1/2 of what you think you will need...

Chuck:cool1:

Happy Birthday Belynda!! Hope you had a great one!! :cake: :bday:

To those of you who are leaving this weekend..........have a safe trip at WDW and we will see you real soon!

I just want to be sure I have our meeting time correct..........deck 10, starboard, after the drill, right? And, look for lime green shirts?? I forgot what post # had all the info. and going back to read through 17 pages will take up some of my need to go wash, pack, and clean the house time....:)

Thank you for the birthday wishes. Meet and Greet around 4 pm on Deck 10. Look for Chuck - he's 6'8", I believe. He shouldn't be hard to find! ;)

BTW, how far are you from New Orleans? My MIL was raised there. Know any Delesbores? She was one of 15 kids.

That is true! We have our usual cruise stuff ready, I am just trying to keep dds out of all of it b/c I do not want to be running around Tuesday like a chicken with my head cut off, lol. I am packing for 5 PLUS packing my Dniece she is going back to her house tomorrow, Dad has been serving overseas. I have had her for about 10 months. That is a lot of packing. :dance3: So I had to pack her cruise stuff separate. They will be joining us on the cruise. Sort of a welcome back/happy retirement celebration along with the kids end of the school year/graduating elementary-middle school celebration. I wish we lived closer...its an 7 hour drive for us but we are leaving a day early. So we can take full advantage of the boat. :goodvibes

Sherrie,

You are correct! ::yes:: Chuck is 6'8" and will be wearing the fluorescent lime green shirt. :hmghost: Look for him at the Meet 'n' Greet. :jumping1: He will be our landmark! :shamrock:

We just returned from shopping....for fe gifts!!! :thumbsup2 Only a few more days until we all board the Wonder!! :thumbsup2 :cool1:

Lisa

Actually, I will probably be wearing the green in the terminal and yes i am 6'8" so we will be easy to spot...and yes deck 10 midship starboard side (overlooking the Disney terminal/dock) which also overlooks the stage after the drill assembly.

Great! Thanks for confirming that. We plan on arriving at the terminal around 11:15 or so. Hopefully we will be on the ship by 12:30!! :cheer2:

One quick question ..........since we are driving and parking our car there, after we drop off the luggage, I know I can go in and check in while Bret parks the car........I need both of our passports to check in and all Bret needs to get into the terminal is his driver's license, right??? Last year I waited outside while he parked the car and it seemed to take forever :rolleyes1 for him to come join me so that we could walk in together since it was our first cruise. Well, I don't want to wait forever (maybe it was just 10 minutes but it seemed forever).........:rolleyes2 and I know I could be doing something useful like getting our boarding passes!!!!:cool1:

We just watched the Wonder leave on the web cam a little while ago...:sail:.....As I was watching her go, I told her to hurry back because I'll be waiting for her...........Some friends of ours are on that cruise! I will be thinking about them for the next 4 days as it was exactly one year ago that we were on that very cruise!!! They just booked this trip last week! How's that for a last minute trip?? And it is their first Disney cruise.

Okay, I'm just getting a little excited now.........

Sherrie

I FORGOT! We were wanting to watch.. time got away from us. Tell them to bring her back safe and ready for us! :goodvibes

If I understand correctly. You want to check in (if you can), while he parks. You will show them both of your passports.....We try to do this at one cruise. They had to physically see my DH, and my children had to be standing with up there with us. However, this was a Carnival Cruise. But the Agent told us it was for security reasons. That have to visually see the holder, and match their picture.

I understand. It does seem like forever and a day waiting for DH to come back. That is why I like Tampa, lol. They have valet parking! Port Canaveral is my 2nd favorite. Anyways...

I am real excited! We just finish making the FE. We are working on magnets later. I am just so bummed, that we did not get to do things I wanted to do before we left and had to cut some of our budget (b/c of unexpected illness/surgery) for such things. But it is all good :woohoo: I hope you all will enjoy them. It was nice to sit down and do these with my girls. So the quality time is the best investment.

Ok off to finish some Bio terms..
