I know.. I must of just missed you..Hi all! I hope you all had a wonderful cruise! We had so much fun, but it was WAY too short! Thanks everybody for the great FE gifts - that was so fun for the kids! Sorry I never got to meet you Jenni - hope all went well for your extended family!
All the best,
Okay,
I have to second Maggie's message. I hope everyone else had a wonderful cruise. I know I had a great time on my first cruise, and a Disney one at that, and can't wait until I can cruise with DCL again. No, I didn't rebook while on the ship. I am having dinner with my brother tomorrow and am going to suggest that sometime we take a family cruise together: mom, my brother and his family, and me.
Second, the FE gifts were fantastic. I was actually overwhelmed by people's generosity. I guess I didn't really know what to expect.
Some of my WOW moments:
1) when I first walked onto the ship
2) realizing the ship had left port
3) waking up and looking out from my verrandah
4) dinner in Animator's Palate
5) snorkeling in Nassau
6) the private beach during the Nature Walk and Kayak excursion on Castaway Cay
7) how blue the ocean water is/was
8) my FE gifts I received
9) when I finally realized how to navigate my way around the ship
10) Disney Dreams
11) seeing the Wonder from the bus as we drove up
12) turn down service and the chocolates the first and every night
13) seeing the thunderstorm at sea during my second night (I missed it the first night if there was one)
14) meeting up with everyone on Deck 10 midship starboard side, and then seeing various people again during the cruise
Hi Everyone,
We arrived at home about 14 hours ago. Still on FL time, so we were awake around 6am CA time. I've done laundry and grocery shopping, so now it's time to relax and go online.
I'm glad we all were able to do our Meet 'N Greet and spend some minutes chatting in person!![]()
Maggie, it was great running into you on the steps the next day. My DD never did make it to the kids' club. Did yours? Chuck, great talking to you while at Castaway Cay. Did you ever get to play volleyball? My DH and I LOVED the parasailing and would do it again! DD never cheered up while on the beach - party pooper.Sherrie, it was nice to see you and Bret at Shutters Saturday night. Did you spend a lot of $$ on pics? I only wanted a few pics but ended up getting a pkg deal. I never saw Jenni or Cliff after that first day. You guys must have been busy having lots of fun!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the FE gifts! We loved all of them!!!After we received that first FE gift, DH and DD looked forward to checking our extender everyday.
True our cruise was too short. I'm looking forward to the Wonder coming to the West Coast in a few years. I would definitely consider another Disney cruise. That's it for now. I'll try to post pics this weekend.
Thnx for the photo...we now have it on our facebook pages...icemanpad for Lisa and icelaw21 for me.

So okay ... this has nothing to do with our cruise but ...
On June 13th Jon and I were at the Grand Floridian Business Center trying to mail a package. From the computer room out comes Bill Klein from the TLC show Little People: Just Married along with his brother who is getting married at the GF along with 2 cameramen, 2 sound men plus 2 production assistants. Cameras are rolling as the groom is discussing printing problems with the CM. When groom finally leaves one of the assistants asks Jon, the CM and me to sign some paperwork because we are in the scenes that were shot. The episode is supposed to air late next month, so if you happen to be watching the show and see some vaguely familiar faces ...
P.S. The next day Jon saw Tommy Hilfiger sitting in front of the GF Cafe. Too bad Jon wasn't wearing a Tommy knockoff.![]()
Belynda,
We stopped by the GF on June 11 after our anniversary dinner at Ohana's and saw this awesome set up along the beach for some type of reception with a pirate theme. We were there at 8:00 pm and they were still setting up for it. We didn't see a wedding cake displayed so Bret thought it might have been for a convention. We even saw the band members wearing pirate gear. Did you happen to run into this too????? It looked like the set up was for maybe 100-200 people. We do know that someone put up a lot of money to have this!!!!
Sherrie
I can check for the address for you Cliff. I will post when I get a response email.
