The Shack by William Paul Young is a great book! I have recommended it to all my friends. I read it earlier in the year for our professional development group. We also read Who Moved My Cheese? by Spencer Johnson, The Fred Factor by Mark Sanborn, and The FIVE Dysfunctions of a TEAM by Patrick Lencion. My partner teacher just gave me Last Child in the Woods by Richard Louv, so I will probably bring that.

We went and purchased the girls two more cutsie outfits today! Tried to get the Old Navy $1 flip flops and they were all gone.

I came across a really neat thing, but now decided not to post it, lol. At the time I thought it would be helpful, but then I decided it would take away from our newbie Disney cruisers.. the veterans would understand, lol. The newbie's will understand after the cruise.. so remind me about this after, or during meet and greet..

Okay, NOW you got me all curious and excited and nervous! What's the big secret and why do I have to wait? I guess I'll just have to be patient until the cruise and the meet 'n' greet to find out! Speaking of which, would we like to rename the meet 'n' greet to "The Meeting of the Mouseketeers" in honor of maggiet making enough posts?

Well its not so much a big secret, I found something on the boarding process. I thought would get eveyone in the mood and be a little helpful. Then I had the feeling of "I would ruin the ending of a great movie", well in this case it will be the beginning. I thought about how I boarded the ship, the first time, my reaction to everything. It is a moment that I can still play over and over in my head. Its just an "Dorothy in Oz" feeling. So I thought, I could not take that away from the newbies.. I will leave the magic alone.

Don't apologize. I just like giving people a hard way to go. Since I dish it out, I also have to be man enough to take it. I will leave it to the others if they would like to have you post the link. I trust you enough that you don't want to ruin the magic for the newbies (hey that's me!) and not peek ahead of time. I am looking forward to all those first-time WOW! moments. I'm sure my fellow newbies are too!

"I apologize for not getting back with you sooner. This is our first cruise and I have been busy trying to get ready for it as well as my two kids getting ready for finals at school.(we literally leave for our trip when the last bell rings at school) I would love to meet everyone, I think however I will not be able to participate in the FE's. We are going to WDW for six days prior to the cruise and don't think I will have the ability to shop or sew for them. How many of us DISers will be on our cruise? I am getting soooo excited. I hope we all love cruising and I dont get sea sick. I had my doctor prescribe the patch for me, as you see I get a little green when I fly. I'm wishing we would of done a longer cruise but I just couldn't give up going to WDW.

I'm still counting down the days until our cruise and getting more excited now that school has let out for the summer. (Though I still have about a week's worth of work to get done before leaving for the Wonder)

Anyone having their stateroom decorated for the cruise? I'm thinking about it as as surprise for the kids.

DD dragged me to Old Navy and we got the flip flops yesterday! Didn't realize it was a national sale! She also made it to the Old Navy hula hoop wall of fame. Beware of DD in a hula hoop contest!!

They have it at Target and Walmart as well. I am trying my hardest not to pick it up and start reading.

But of course! I do not know how detail it is going to be... I am way behind on my to do list.. I had so much plan to make, I have not gotten a chance to do anything! Hopefully, we can come up with something before we leave..

We are DVC members, but I didn't know anything about a meet-up. How do you get info on that? Well, it is probably better to avoid, as there is no way we can add points!!

Here's an update on the dvc member gathering for those that are members and might be interested in attending. I received an email from my dvc guide informing me that the dvc gathering is on the first day of the cruise. By looking at past Navigators, it may be held at 2:30..........but check for the actual time as you board on Thurs.

WOW! We are only one week away!!!!!!

We have commenced the packing.. I have been busy doing all day long. Housework and laundry is behind because of my little setback, and end of the school year festivities. My girls play softball, DD (13) is on two teams. School started back this week for me, I am trying to get a head. So I am going to be a busy bee. It will be worth it all...when I can chill out.
