So we are back!
I've got so much to write that I'll prob do this in several parts. So let's start at beginning!
6/3 Flight: Took Song Airlines at 6:30am from Laguardia. Flight left on time, attendents were great especially since I was freaking out about flying. Hadn't flown in 6yrs and I wasn't handling take off or turbulance well, but the Song staff were great. As far as the seats ; they were very uncomfortable. Hubby and I both on the way to FL and back had seats that were broken and did not recline. Very uncomfortable, but again, the crew was great so I can't complain too much.
Car Service in FL: Tiffany Car service was AWESOME and we had a driver named Alex and he was great. Friendly and all that. Had him both on ride to hotel and back to airport.
Hotel: This was the most PLEASANT surprise. We stayed offsite at Travelodge Maingate East (5711 Irlo Bronson Blvd) and based on postings on board was very concerned about this. But Travelodge was amazing - had great shuttle times, it was big bus, never had a problem getting on shuttle (wasn't over crowded). The hotel was great. Friendly staff, nice room - AND we had a view of Epcot's Spaceship earth from the room's balcony! They had a great restaurant/cafeteria downstairs as well as a good little bar with appetizers open till 1am (bartender Tim was very funny and personable). A couple nights we took cabs from Downtown Disney (cause we were out at Pleasure Island
. These cabs were a little costly 16.00 each trip back to hotel, but only did it twice so it was fine for us. Very convenient. We will defiantely be staying at Travelodge Maingate East again!
First day: We got checked into the hotel at 10am even tho checkin isn't till 4pm, they had a room ready for us. We went down, grabbed some waters in the caf and hopped on the 11:10 shuttle to Magic Kingdom. And that's when hubby and I realized we were in love with Disney World...the castle appeared as the tram approached and the magic began....
