6/27 9PM Main Street Electrical Parade

Was anyone at the MK last night (6/27) and there for the electrical parade? They made an announcement at 9 saying that due to unforseen circumstances, that the performance was delayed.

We waited about 15 minutes and after the 2nd announcement of the delay, decided to leave the park (our kids were pretty spent by that point, and waiting for a delayed parade + fireworks was just not going to work out). We were back by Liberty Square, so by the time we got to the main gates they were making a 3rd announcement regarding the delay.

I am just curious if they ever started the 9 pm parade or canceled it outright, and if anyone knows why the parade was delayed to start with.

Was it due to weather? Maybe a storm was in the area?

Hmm, I seem to remember reading a post from someone at MK yesterday (at least I think it was from yesterday) and they said all the shops on the left side (when facing castle) of Main St. were shut down around ~6pm yesterday with CMs lined up almost shoulder to shoulder blocking guests from entering. Wonder what's up with that?

Hmm, I seem to remember reading a post from someone at MK yesterday (at least I think it was from yesterday) and they said all the shops on the left side (when facing castle) of Main St. were shut down around ~6pm yesterday with CMs lined up almost shoulder to shoulder blocking guests from entering. Wonder what's up with that?

I also wondered if they were related.

My friends and I saw part of the 9PM parade from Peoplemover, but it did seem a little late for it to be going through the Hub area.

Don't know about the main street thing. We left MK around 1:15 to hit the pool. We returned around 5:30 and everything on Main Street was normal.

There was a "medical situation" with transport required at the south end of the Emporium by the Firehouse crossing that was the cause of the delay. Pushed back the parade step off, CTM and Wishes about 20 minutes.
