We did go see Up yesterday, we saw the 3D version. The movie was too cute. I cried at some points, I'm easily very emotional - and I laughed a lot. I highly recommend seeing this one. Even Dan got upset at 1 point. He's my rough & tough cream puff! I kept saying Dan you have to stop crying, you're too loud there are other people around us.

Can't wait to hear what characters will be in Disney, would love to see Kevin (the bird) or Dug (the dog), but they'll probably have Carl (the old man) & Russell (the kid.)

What made it even harder was that I lost my grandfather a few weeks ago, so seeing Carl all alone made me very upset. I saw on a website (allears.net maybe?) that Carl, Russel and Dug are all at DHS!!! I really hope we get to see them!

Hi all!

I didn't get a chance to post yesterday, so I will start my post with what day 23 looked like:

Dan really liked the Bolt themeing.

The short was really cute. I think it was called something like "Partly Cloudy" it had all of us laughing!!! Wonder why you didn't get it???

Hi everyone - today we are less than 3 weeks out - WAHOO!

Here's day 20 that was left on the kitchen table today:

Not really doing much Disney planning lately. We are going to Allentown, PA this weekend for a soccer tournament and we are going to Dorney Park on Friday, so the kids will have a fun time I'm sure. As for me, I'll hang around. I ride rides, but I can take em or leave em.

Guess what, today we broke into the teens - yipee!

What better way to celebrate than with the ducks!!!

I think I might make a trip to the mall tomorrow to get the GC that I have been talking about that will be used to pay for our meal tips and stuff.

vamassey1 - I'm undecided too about the pedi & mani. I really, really want to do it, but as I have mentioned before, I'm so cheap and know it is something that I can do myself.

Everyone needs a haircut too, except me. I mean I could use one, but I'm undecided if I want to let my hair grow a little more or not. Kerry hasn't had her hair cut since early February. Dan's hair is getting long and thick and Joe, well his just gets bushy when it needs to be cut - which it is! Our problem is finding the time to do it.

Joe took our laptop to work to have some IT guy take a look at it! I really need it fixed, I am going through withdrawl!!! I didn't realize how quickly I would become attached to it. I hate having to go upstairs on the desktop in the computer room - that's why I haven't posted much after work (reading between the lines - I'm too lazy!) I hope it will be an easy fix and I will be able to take it with us this weekend; otherwise, I will not be posting from Friday until Monday morning!

18 Days out....

Well, I just found out that the laptop will not be fixed and we have to send it back to the company, so no posting over this weekend!

The weather forecast is calling for 90% chance of rain tomorrow - the day we are supposed to go to Dorney Park. We are going with a soccer team. The parents have decided to go regardless of the weather. Ya know, if it were Disney it would be no problem, but this isn't Disney and I really don't have the enthusiasum to be out there getting soaked - oh well, not my call! I will get a chance to see if the good ole Disney ponchos are still good for this yr, so all is not lost.

I did get a chance to shoot over to the Disney Store during my lunch hour and picked up the GC that I have been talking about - finally done, can mark it off my list!

Well, everyone have a great weekend and I will probably get a chance to post on Monday!

I feel the same way about a pedi as you. It's real hard for me to pamper myself like that too. I will definitly be getting these grays dyed before we go, that I can't live without. I'm so gealous that you still have a Disney Store. They closed ours after Christmas and I really miss it. Every trip to the mall included a stop in.

Well, here I am checking in on this fine Tuesday! We are now officially less than 2 weeks to until we leave:

I'm starting to think a little more about the small stuff I need to purchase before we leave and I'm making my good ole trusty list!

We had a fun weekend, we ended up going to Dorney Park on Saturday evening because we were basically rained out on Friday. I just can't do rides like I used to when I was younger (basically before I had kids.) Thankfully Disney is more mild than most theme parks.

Yes I did, I've made the change on my spreadsheet and all. Also the added SpectroMagic shows on several of the days too! Getting closer and getting more excited!

Today is Friday and I can't believe that we are only 10 days out!

I am getting really excited, but still feel like it is a long time until we leave. We usually go to Disney on a Friday and this is first time that we are leaving on a Monday, so I feel like I still have tons of time before we leave. I mean, I have 2 full weekends to get everything ready before we go!

I have picked up some stuff for the trip: gallon size Ziploc bags, quart size Ziploc bags, detergent to wash clothes (we are staying in a 1bdrm that has a washer & dryer and I will basically have all the laundry done before we come home - I hate having to come home to a ton of dirty laundry!)

I also have some boxed (movie theatre style) candy for the kids bags. This yr I bought a splitter, for their headphones, for the DVD player. In the past I always made them use the headphones but there was only 1 plug, so each child got one earphone - but this yr, I'm thinking ahead!!!!

I have a $20 GC for Dick's Sporting Goods, which I think I'm going to go buy socks for Dan, maybe even Kerry - basically for whoever I can afford to buy them for (don't have much use for the GC otherwise!)

Dan has his travel soccer team's pool party this Sunday and Kerry is hosting a fright-night on Saturday. I think she has invited like 7 girls to come sleepover and they will watch scary movies - I will be in my bedroom, I don't like scary movies! So, as you can see we are keeping busy this weekend.

The kids finish up school this week too. Kerry's last day is Thursday and Dan's last day is Friday and then it is officially SUMMER!

Did anyone else see the AP Preview for the Hall of Presidents that will be taking place on Sunday, June 28th. It's from 11am to 9pm and all you have to do is show your AP and a photo ID. We are planning to go, anyone else???

Ok, so I am not as good as all of you folks, I just can't get on and post everyday and I am not nearly clever enough to come up with the stuff others are posting about.

Today, we are 4 days out from our trip:

We leave on Monday, real early - our flight leaves at 7am - we will be leaving the house at around 5-5:15am. I have to have everything packed and Joe wants to have the car packed the night before.

I just have this paralyzed feeling. I have so much to do, but can't seem to start anything. It's so hard to pack when you have to still do a load of wash on Sunday before we leave because we all wear the clothes that we will be wearing when we are down there. I can start to pack, but know I can't finish until Sunday night.

Today was Kerry's last day of school. School was supposed to be over at 10:30 (I know, I know, why even go) but she then calls me from home around 9:30 (Grandparents picked her up, she had Mass - Catholic School at 8:45 and then since her ride was there I guess she was allowed to leave) to tell me she got another Straight "A" report card. She really impresses me. She just finished 7th grade getting straight "As" and she also puts in about 20 hrs a week at the gym. She is really focused and is a great kid!

Dan's last day of school is tomorrow (he goes to the public school.) He's had a pretty good yr too. Academics are never a problem, he is very smart, but his behavior could use some tuning up now and then.

He's my free-spirit, while Kerry is my old soul. I love them both though, they are a good balance for each other (they do get on my nerves though sometimes because they bicker all the time!)

Oh the best news of all - the laptop is now home and where it is supposed to be, so I should be able to get on over the weekend to chat some more!

I follow your PTR, but you guys are so "fast" over there, I've never posted, but I do read! Lots of fun!

Have you looked at weather.com??? I've been looking everyday. Not all of my trip is listed yet and on the 10 day report you have to take it with a grain of salt. They are calling for no more than 60% chance of rain on a few days and most so far are calling for low 90s. It's seems like a decent forecast at the moment. I can handle rain, it tends to keep the temps down and does keep some of the crowds down too!

I'm checking the weather every day. Doesn't look too bad. We're hitting highs of 97-98 and Orlando is showing 91-93 for our trip.

I still have so much to do too and planning on doing last minute laundry on Saturday. We fly out Sunday afternoon. Of course our flight is less that 2 hours.

We need to compare schedules.
