Gotta keep thinking positive.

After all we are the US and we have Healthcare here. I think this is major for Mexico because of their Healthcare...

Cruiselines are making adjustments in their itineries... We need to be cautious but I don't think we need to panic.

Good Night ya'll

P.S. - No cabin # yet

I told Diane last night that I had OCCAD (obessive compulsive cabin assignment disorder) but at least I went to bed before 12:30 am :cat: (in fact, it was one of those nights when I fell asleep, face down, on the couch and DD had to wake me up to tell me to go to bed!!)

to Disneyanna1: a hearty pirate: Pirate's welcome to you & your gange of merry travelers (ok, I don't know where that came from...)

to Stephanie: YEAH! Glad Dr. Doom is still ok with travel for now

to Triplefigs: (PS - I laugh every time I see the pic of your three angels sitting at that vacation table and think ** how does she do it with THREE??!!!!** :worship:)... Anyhow, I am the Finance Director at the largest fine dining Steak House company in the World.

We  love food in my house and DD will eat anything. Between cruising and going to fine dining restaurants she has had her share of yumminess. The funniest time was when she was about 10 and we were at a hotel and she picked up the phone and started ordering room service :scared1:... "What are you doing??!!" and she just assumed that room service was included with the hotel, too!! I feel sorry for her boyfriend some day..

We should be darn safe on our cruise with all the medical people just on our thread. Now y'all have me really curious. What does everyone do? I have my BSN/MSN and am a NICU nurse. Your turn!

I am a senior Wire Transfer Specialist at Provident Bank(at least until May 22)then I'll be a Senior Wire Transfer Specialist for M&T Bank. LOL I have been in banking for 14 years, and worked at quite a few banks. :scared1:

I am an office mgr for a Physical & Occupational therapy clinic. We have to take Bloodborne Pathogen tests every year!

I am afraid I teach accounting and won't be much medical help. LOL.

Well, it's after 9am (I was giving DCL the benefit of waiting until they opened) and no assignments..

Anyone calling their TA today to ask?:confused3

I am a CPA and Financial Manager in the Auditing Department for our Local County. I handle the County's Budget and Financial Reporting and I am over our Payroll and Accounts Payable divisions.

I am sure by our cruise DCL will work out a better itinerary then Nassau but just incase we booked the Comfort suites in Nassau. You get full privlages at Atlantis by staying there. The cost right now for "a night" is $250. For 4 of us that is just over $60 a person vs the $180 per adult DCL charges! :scared1: I was able to use points though to reserve the room so no money out of my pocket! :thumbsup2 After looking at all Atlantis has to offer I kind of want to stop there now. :)

If anyone has anything for the website please PM or email me. I am usually on top of things but with the last few days I know I missed some things. So whether it is Meets or Roll Call or anything please resend it. THANKS!

With my happiness yesterday also came the diagnosis of bronchitis for me! :scared1: I am a little miserable right now but the medicine is at least starting to work. I will be just "hanging out" all day trying to feel better.

If you have not been to the Atlantis before it is LOVELY and the kids will have an absolute BLAST. Many folks share a not so high sentiment about Nassau itself, but the Atlantis is great.

I have been there before on a cruise- we did the Atlantis excursion- it was awesome. We did a tour of the Dig, and of the grounds and ate at an open air restaurant overlooking the lagoon- it was beautiful. We did the straw market and did the little touristy shops. My cousin was very paranoid, but I was fine. I guess because I grew up in the city(in a rough area), I am more accustomed to the bad areas. I just say no to people or don't respond to them if they start "hawking me" and maybe it's my tone(or look that I give them)that makes people leave me alone. :rolleyes1

I don't know what we will do if we go there, I have been looking at excursions- I guess we'll see what happens.:surfweb:

I'm a system's analyst, I write computer software. I work at home on the computer all day, which is why I disappear from here at night, the last thing I want to do is look at a computer in my free time!

So I just switched my room to a CAT 12. The rates were on the website for like a min. We could only get one room switched over but it saved us $700! :thumbsup2

Wow! that's terrific! They must REALLY be having a hard time selling this sailing (and the fact that it is a Western isn't helping it...)
