I think so too, we made tshirts for embarkation too- we are going matchy-matchy!! We are all wearing turqoise tshirts with the design that Stephanie made- that's in my signature, and jean shorts. I can't wait!!

I did not even try to convince my "boys" to buy into this thought. Your family will look great. It will be easy to find you.

Yeah I know about the FE stuff taking a lot of room. We will have 4 checked bags and probably 2 carry ons. I think we opted not to bring the laptop. I have finished about 75% of stuff for myself. So we are in good shape. We just have to wait for Friday to come which will be torture.

We're only bringing the laptop because we'll be at WDW the week after, and will be getting on the internet there, plus I want to download all of my pics and don't want to wait until the next week.

Hey Nikki, you think you can come pack for me?? Fran won't, she says I have to do it myself!!

Nikki - Will you be sending an updated FE exchange list to Stephanie before you leave? I know we will probably have some last minute changes that we will have to deal with on the ship. Thanks.

Jordan had her recital yesterday- she was so cute!! The recital was 3.5 hours long though- I was tired of watching but she wanted to stay until the end for the final curtain call- so she could bow on stage. She's such a ham.

Trust me. He knows better than "forget" something. He loves to harass. But Ben and I are control freaks and he has more lists than I do.

Since I actually purchased something formal, I plan on making an appt to get my hair done. I am a wash and go person. I am guessing I am going to try for 4pm and figure I will need to head up to the spa shortly after getting on board.

This is so true. We are both control freaks and at times it can get a little tense, but those times have become few and far between since we have learned the others "freak". I do have more list than her, but she has learned to use and add to my list.

Of course, with all of this going on, I'm surprised she hasn't posted a disclaimer about me yet. Something along the lines of taking no responsibility or agreeing in any way on most of my actions or statements.

Hey everyone- I'm done packing except for a toiletries bag for the road trip down there!!!!! For the cruise- I have 4 suitcases/a garment bag/2 toiletries bags(that FE stuff took a lot of room).
We will board with a backpack for our laptop/camera stuff/passports/money, etc- and another toiletries bag(stuff we took on the roadtrip- and need.)
I can't believe we're (well really me- Steve didn't pack a freakin' thing)done- and we leave on Wednesday after work!!! 2 more days!!!!
I got mani/pedi today, hair getting done tomorrow.

We will be doing the online checkin, that's how we did it last year, you still have to go in and wait in line for your room keys, but it saves a smidgen of time, and when I am on vacation the less time I spend waiting for anything the more time I have for fun

Should I get snorkel gear for us? Would goggles be enough for the pirate cruise? Also, how much beach stuff/toys are you bringing? My kids love to dig so I have buckets and their big shovels. I am headed to Target in the am on way home from work(am here now- 2 more nights to go!)

Jordan will taks her goggles- she can't swim so she probably won't even go under. LOL Also we ordered the small sand bucket gift basket (with all of the toys with it) from Shirley for Jordan for her graduation gift.

I figure with the cost of renting them even at CC ($25 I think), you have paid for a decent set (at least mask and snorkel). We plan to snorkel also at Ft Zacchary in KW and Chakkanaabab in Cozumel as well as Cpt Marvin's Stingray and snorkeling tour. Plus you can get a better fit by bringing your own. We purchased US divers brand for around $25 (no fins - too much to pack for us) at Academy. Kids are responsible for packing their own gear (has to fit in their luggage).

Folks were giving reminders on things to do before you leave and someone mentioned making sure the toilets were flushed (a good idea I had not thought of before). On that note, make sure you take out ALL of the trash in the house just before you leave. You can get some really funky smells when it ferments in a warm house for a week or 2.

Disney Cruise Line Dining Dress Code:

As part of the "Cruise Casual" policy, it is asked that you do not wear tank tops, swim wear or shorts to the dining rooms. Jeans are allowed.

The evening's attire is determined by the day, not the restaurant. On the 7 day cruises you will have a formal night, semi-formal, Pirate/tropical night and four "Cruise Casual" nights. (Disney Cruise Line will provide a brochure for tuxedo rentals prior to your cruise.)
