Just found out that DD booked a print job for next week! It's nothing huge but it pays pretty good for the day. Her rate is $750 for half a day and a $1,000 for anything over half a day. Not bad for a 7yo. LOL The cool thing is she didn't even audition. They liked her headshots and asked to see some snap shots. Her manager had called on Monday asking for the pictures. Well, we were at Disneyland. I totally forgot when we got home and did not remember till about 10AM the next day. She was already at school so I just sent 2 from the past weekend and I guess they were good enough!

Brandon is a night owl-so I will have to pay close attention to where he is and when he is coming in.

when we cruised when Blake was about 16/16, he and his cousin would come in VERY late.

Did you just give them a curfew? That is what my DH wants to do, I'm not so sure I like the idea,thou!

Good Morning all!
Last night, I tried to sleep, but the swelling in my neck got so bad, I felt like I was going to suffocate. I've never been that scared, so DH drove me to the ER right after midnight. I think I had my first ever panic attack too. They did a CT scan with and without contrast - that was a wierd feeling. And even more strange being on the receiving end after being an ER nurse for 20 years. They diagnosed me with adenopathy (enlarged lymph nodes), and discharged me a few hours later, so I guess my next step is to go see an ENT. I'm calling my family Dr this AM (the one that saw me yesterday). Just very nerve racking not having a definite diagnosis. I'll keep you all posted...Thanks for all the pixie dust and

Well hopefully it is something that a good antibiotic can take care of that. Take care and keep us updated.

The sailing seems to be filling up -- I only see cabins in Cat 11 (1 of them), Cat 8 (1 of them) 7 (Navigator's - lots of them)) and that's it. Everything else is on GTY as of now.

We did not give Blake one then since he had his cousins with him and they tend to not get into trouble. He was very surprised when we went on RC the next year and the cruise line had a curfew for teens

The sailing seems to be filling up -- I only see cabins in Cat 11 (1 of them), Cat 8 (1 of them) 7 (Navigator's - lots of them)) and that's it. Everything else is on GTY as of now.

That is funny bc when I looked yesterday there were no 7's. Maybe they upgraded some 7's to 6's inorder free up some other cheaper rooms?

COOL and that sounds like great pay. Good for college fund!!

I called DCL the other day and asked how many rooms were left and I was told 26. So to me that is a full ship really, when you think about it.

I know that sometimes the ship is not full and I have never seen DCL keep putting such a deal like they did for the Cat 12 for just one or a few dates before.
So I think that due to the issues with filling up the ship they did some kind of testing with price, etc. with this date to see how it goes. Even my TA says this June 13th cruise is very different with the offernings etc.

I think they are testing different ways of selling to make the ship full because if it is full then it helps with paying the workers with tips, etc.

And for the other June through 1st week of July, alot of people have gotten emails or postcards offering buy adult /kid free promo, so they are testing different things for sure.

I am just glad we all got one of the good deals going around.

26 cabins left is a full ship, IMO!!!

Yes, we all got good deals. In fact, DCL just announced Florida resident rates straight through to July 4th which I have never seen in the past!!!

I tried tracking mine by reference & it came up: more than 1 shipper is using the reference entered. I tried narrowing my search but it didn't work. Could it be cuz I used a TA?!?!

It did that to me,too. Just look at the dates that are in there, change them to 5/11-5/29, that is what I did & it brought it up.

Thanks... I had changed the date but I guess I didn't broaden it enough. Mine are stopping in AZ before coming to MI (that is where my original TA is). I think they ship via FedEx!!! So I should have them by the beginning of next week.

I still don't have cabin nos. When I do get them will it appear on line? I have never booked GTY before, so wasn't sure.

Since cabins keep changing I will post a final list online about 3-4 days before sailing.

For those who upgrade at port...either find me at the port or let me know at the DIS meet. I will have a Dry Erase Board for DIS Updates on my door. I know you will all have to venture to deck 1 to find them but it will help burn off some extra calories for all of the food we are going to eat!

Drat everytime you post that you are in a new room, I rush out to the DCL site and put in my reservation number to see if we've been moved....but nothing, which is fine, i'm ok w/were we are but I get all excited there for a few minutes thinking maybe they'll move us too
