What can we say, a definite love of Disney and having a good time seems like a healthy enough obsession to have Could always be worse haha

Our friends that are going with us that you all we meet, Think I am crazy about Disney and I try to tell them I am not alone! and that there are others that maybe even love Disney more. Nay, maybe Love Disney equal.

Has anyone checked to see if many cabins are left at this point. Hopefully there will be and those wanting to upgrade at the port will be able to.

Diane are you really getting up to go see the shuttle? I am hoping to see if from WDW. Is that too far away?

I am feeling jealous of those all meeting up at the Radisson-we have enjoyed staying there before other cruises and then you are right there in the morning. Since we are all flying in at very different times and meeting at AKL using the free not so magical express, it was easier to all get there for free and then take the van to the port in the morning.

For anyone who takes drinks onboard-are you allowed. We have never done it, but considering a Walmart or Target stop if we are allowed. Other times we had something sent by Shirley.

Yes I was looking forward to Disney's Magical Express to and from the airport and was thrilled to find out it was included in the Swan and Dolphin. I was even more surprised to find out we did not even have to buy DCL transfers to get it!

We are bringing on alcohol. We got little bottles of a bunch of different things. Mostly rum so DH can make rum and coke. He also got Kahlua and Starbucks Liquer. With the free coffee on deck nine he will be set! I don't drink any of it!

Most lower room types are at GTY. It will be interesting to see how full the ship is. It seemed so empty for awhile but really filled up quickly.

Hello- yes, we are still here...we were out of the country and then the gang had ear infections. I am still learning the ropes...sorry...and yes, we still want to be a part of the FE Exchange. We are also planning on bringing our Magic Bullet Blender and have some fun. We look forward to meeting everyone at the DIS Meeting

We are also planning at this time to get off and swim with the dolphins. Our gang loves anything that has to do with the ocean and they are really looking forward to swimming with the dolphins.

TGIF!!!

The FE extenders/bags are terrific! Wow, some people are so talented! I wish that I had a sewing machine that did embroidery, too. Must go figure out something for a bag this weekend.

I am trying to buy DD a gown for formal night and was on ebay looking for "formal gown + nwt + size 0" (hello?!) and DD said that she would never wear anything I bought over the internet or that may have been touched by other human hands... I tried to explain that I'd find a new one that no one wore or would have said dress cleaned but she refused. (She and DEX have a case of the "Monks" I like to call it -- everything must be antiseptically clean. Must avoid all drinking fountains, public restrooms, you get the picture..)

On our first and only Wonder cruise WAY back in 2004 I put us in matching gowns -- people kept stopping and saying how adorable we looked. Now I can't even get DD to admit that I am with her!

As far as losing kids... on the same Wonder trip (with Brother, SIL, 2 nephews) I had the distinction of having the first lost child on the ship -- even before we left PCC!!! DD and cousins were playing ping pong and we settled at the family pool with an adult beverage (must have been about 3pm). I guess that DD (8 at the time) decided she'd had enough and said she was going to go find us -- Cousins, who were supposed to watch her, said "ok" and off she went, apparently bypassing the family pool and to the adult pool. About 1/2 hour later I go to the ping pong table and find 2 nephews, no DD. Another "she's with you" story

Fortunately, DD knew to go find a CM (a bartender) who took her to the kids club where she was already "bagged & tagged" with her id bracelet. Problem is that my PAGER WAS BROKEN so they had tried to page me but I didn't get the page. So there I am in a wet bikini sad2 and standing in the A/C (not a pretty sight) crying and DD is hanging with the counselors on Deck 5. I was HYSTERICAL. However, by the time we made it back to the cabin for the muster there was a covered tray of chocolate covered strawberries and a note saying how sorry they were.

Moral of the story: if you check in your kids at the kids club and get a pager, have them send you a test page while you are standing there to make sure it works. Another life lesson learned the hard way.

PS - darling (now adult) nephews are still as irresponsible to this day...

This is ours... I love Tinkerbell & the colors purple & teal look awesome together. I bought from someone on Ebay & she happens to be from MI (which is a plus).

I am thinking about black & hot pink glitter to put our names on it. Although I may just print some DISigns that I found as iron-on.

I was surprised to wake up & see that I could catch up in only a few minutes. It was quiet here last night. I really need to limit my time on the computer & spend more time on the treadmill.

Everyone's FEs are awesome... can't wait to put goodies in them! Do we have a final count? Is it the same but adding 1 family (mom, dad & 2 kids?), right?

I am off work again today but actually getting out of the house to run errands & not just sitting here ! Hope everyone has a great day!!!

Boy do I know the feeling, my dh and dd13 are like this too And all these stories of losing kids has me thinking more and more about packing the walkies. I know there's been lots of threads saying they don't work too well on the ship but I don't know I think I may feel a little better having them. And maybe DH who is a complete paranoid freak, will cut the kids a little slack and let them have a little freedom. I don't know but I hope! I have so much to do for this cruise, i can't believe how close it is. We live in OH and I've not even gotten out my summer clothes yet....now that all our rooms are filled with kids, I gotta pack up my off season stuff and keep them in bins in the basement. I got DD11 and DS8 clothes all out but I'm still slopping around in a couple of shorts and tshirts I leave out all year...but honestly it's not been that hot here for the summer clothes yet.

DS8 is making his first communion tomorrow so me and DH are off today and getting ready for his party. Once tomorrow is out of the way I can start to really concentrate on the cruise! Have a good one ya all
