How many are doing parasailing in Key West? Who did you book through?

I think they booked through Fury. Alot of people parasailing in Key West.

We probably won't be getting off but not so much because of the Swine Flu. When the SF was new no one new how bad it would effect people. It the 1920's it killed MANY. This time around it seems to be very under control.

With that being said though we will just stay close to the ship. We also LOST Brooklyn on a beach in Mexico last year. It was BY FAR the scariest 20 minutes of MY LIFE! We will enjoy an empty ship.

If there was an excursion that we really wanted to do then I would do it but there is really nothing there for us. We will enjoy an empty Magic! we did Dolphins last year and LOVED it. We may do them next year on the TA. I did want to take the girls to see the ruins but when finding out all the travel to get there I figured we would not take any chances.

We did the ruins years ago on our first trip to Cozumel- that was a nice excursion. It is ALOT of travel to get there, I definately wouldn't take Jordan- she would probably drive everyone around us crazy- she talks ALOT!!

Ok good to know....ruins are def off of our list!!! I just thought they would like to see them bc they love the Beverly Hill Chiuihua movie. I know I did not spell that right but I did not feel like looking it up!

I think I'm going to start packing the weekend of the 16th- we have no plans that weekend- so we can just concentrate on that.I have so much stuff piled up in my suitcases- just everytime I think of something- I throw it in there.

Stephanie, which beach excursion did you do last year in Cozumel? Did you enjoy it (besides losing your daughter)? Would you recommend it?

We did the Mexican Riviera last time so the stops were on the other side of Mexico.

I do not however reccomend any DCL beach excursion. You can do it for a fraction of the price on your own.

We might do the Paradise Beach in Mexico..alot of 'toys' for the kids. Going to get a cab & do it on our own.

We lost J (DD) on our last cruise.. wow it was terrible. She walked down to get a drink & got disoriented.. I was a basket case! I can't imagine being off the ship & doing it.

What time is your shuttle- ours is 10am!! I am ready!!

Ours is at 10 am also! We expect to arrive at the Raddisson about 5:30 or 6 friday might - the luggage and traffic gods willing. Cant wait to get a drink at the pool and start meeting people!!

Ok, I am jumping for joy! Just found one other AWESOME thing for each person for the FE!!!! Now I am done!!! I will be putting all of the items in 1 bag for each cabin vs individual bags (1 of the items is small but, oh, so cool!!!).

And have we verified with all those who said they wanted to participate that they still are? Some DISers haven't posted on here in quite a while...

I have to laugh, I was worried about stopping in Cozmuel for because of swine flu and now there are 2 cases in the grade school in my town... about 1 mile away. Oh well I hope if we get it we get it quick so we can get over it.

It was like a Hollywood movie. I was screaming, yelling, crying, it was HORRIBLE! I thought she was gone. I sware every tourist, worker, everyone helped to find her though! THANK GOD she turned around and started walking back. I am not sure if we would have found her in time before something bad happened had she not turned back. Everyone focused their efforts at our hotel and the exits at the front of the hotel. Little did anyone know she had already walked off the property on our hotel and was almosy 2 hotels away.

It was so hard bc Maddy was just three and Craig had to carry her while we ran around going nuts! She was crying bc we were upset. It was just terrible!

This was the "last" picture I had had of her at the time. She was up at the hotel eating with Craig. It was taken about 30 seconds before she was gone. She tried to go from there down to the beach to find me and maddy. Well she passed us and just kept going down the beach. I yelled up to Craig asking where she was, he said with you. Then the chaos began!

I know exactly where you are coming from! I kept asking my DH, ' can I worry now' he thougth she will realize what she did & come back. After he tried to go & find her & couldn't , I could worry. I went & found an officer in white & explained my situation. He assured me she didnt' go over board, which is what I was thinking! He told me to go to guest services, I got turned around myself & ended up one deck above at the kids programs... there she was with a CM.. I was crying & cried more when I saw her! WOW... don't want to ever do that again!

We were talking about that last night. I'm figuring that if other people get off, we will be exposed, so might as well get off At first I was afraid b/c of the voilence going on there, now we have to worry about getting sick! Ugh!

I wouldn't worry about the violence. This appears not to have reached Cozumel. Fran and I went on a Carnival cruise several weeks ago (just before the H1N1/A flu reared its ugly head) and one of our stops was in Cozumel, it was just like every other time we have been to Cozumel. Friendly people trying to sell you everything they can and plenty of sunshine!

For those doing the Pirate Encounter in Grand Cayman, I thought I would post a few pictures Fran and I took while in Grand Cayman a few weeks ago. As we were tendering from the ship to the dock, we saw the Pirate ship waiting for their "crew" to board.

Later, after we were back on board the Carnival Conquest and eating a little lunch, we watched the "Pirate ship" make a pass on our ship and a RCCL ship that was anchored nearby and "fire" on both ships.

From what we saw, I can imagine the kids are going to have a lot of fun on this one.

While we were there we visited the Turtle Farm and really enjoyed that and plan on taking Rob back after we finish the Pirate Encounter.

That would be probably be fun too, the beaches there are beautiful!! We are going to go ahead and do the dolphin excursion(if we go to Cozumel), I don't know when we'll be cruising again(at least to the Caribbean- we are planning Alaska in 2011- but no dolphins there- LOL)So we want to do it!!

I also linked our dining and Fran's through my TA yesterday- I had to do it through her- DCL wouldn't let me do it through them- because I booked through the TA.
