6:00pm NYE Illuminations

We have young kids and a 5:20 ADR at Rose and Crown. We're planning to watch the 6:00 Illuminations and then leave the park. Is this the same Illuminations that is shown at midnight on NYE? Should we take the bus back to AoA after the 6:00 Illuminations or will it take forever at that time?

2. Should we take the bus back to AoA after the 6:00 Illuminations

1. Nope.

2. You can, if you like. (You won't realistically be at the bus stop until about 6:30, or later.)

3. Unlikely to be particularly busy (compared to the buses following the LATE IllumiNations.)

It's the same Illuminations but at the end they tag about 10 minutes of new years fireworks

The "New Year" finale is added at the late performance.

That's why I said they are not the same show.

It is NOT the same show, the 6:00pm show is an early bird showing of regular Illuminations with the Holiday finale that they show the entire month of December, it is not the NYE countdown show. The special NYE countdown show is at the 11:40pm showing, the entire show is over 20 minutes long and concludes with a HUGE NYE celebratory finale at midnight.
