We booked the $59 rate for the Radisson for Sept. and I asked specifically if it included the parking. This is what I was told. You can park your car there for the cruise and take the shuttle but you have to make prior arrangements (when you check in) for the shuttle times. The people who have booked the rooms at the parking and shuttle rate (I believe it's about $100+) get first choice. The only thing they guarentee (sp) is that you'll arrive at the port before the ship sails. What some people have done is drive to the port and let the rest of the family (with luggage) board the ship, then return to the Radisson and take the shuttle. I guess it's easier to get a seat if there's only one taking it. For $59 for the room, my DH and I figure if we want to get to the ship earlier than the shuttle can take us, we'll drive. I did call at least 3 different times since I made the reservations (around Feb.) and was told the same thing all 3 times so I'm assuming this is the way it'll be. Maybe somenone who's actually done it, can tell us if this is correct.
