50's Primetime ???

The fried cheese appetizer was awesome!!
DH didn't really like the pot roast-However, ds (11 yrs) loved it! He didn't eat all his veggies, so Cousin Steph feed him like he was a baby ('here come's the airplane-open wide, etc...). It was funny! :rotfl:
I had the salmon- it was good!
We had the smores and dad's sundae. We (family of 5) couldn't finish it all- it was a lot! :earboy2:
We would go back again!

But the best grilled chicken sandwhich ever is at the Prime Time and its the
Char-grilled Chicken Sandwich - spice-rubbed chicken breast grilled and topped with maple-glazed bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and creamy peppercorn sauce on a Kaiser roll, with French fries

YUMMY
I completely agree! The Grilled Chicken Sandwich is delicious and very filling.

Be sure to try the s'mores! They are incredible, but you'll want to share an order. 3 of us shared an order and it was more than enough.

You may also enjoy trying the peanut butter and jelly milkshake there. Yum!
:goodvibes

My Dh had the Salmon there and he said it was wonderful. My MIL had it too. They said it was one of the best they had ever eaten. :flower:

Thumbs up for potroast and friend chicken AND, I just have to add, the best coffee in WDW, imho.

NB

50's Primetime has been one of our best dining experiences EVER! I got the fried chicken and my bf got the meatloaf- both were REALLY good. We also got the smores for dessert and they were yummy.

Our server was a guy and he was hilarious! I think his name was something weird like louriki. I was laughing from the moment I sat down, til we left. He was really attentive. I love it there, but I'm scared we'll get a boring server and be disappointed next time b/c I don't know if anyone could be as good as him.

Here's a pic of the chicken and meatloaf:

And here's me and my server (not the best photo, I couldn't stop laughing):

I had the Dads Pot roast and it was very good. The apple crisp was also yummy.

I thought I was the only one on this planet that ordered the salmon until I read someone above also had it. I order the salmon every trip and it is always awesome! They changed it slightly this year but it was still really delicious.
We always enjoy our meal at the 50's. My DS (15) always has the fried chicken and eats all of it. They don't get enough credit for really good food and generous portions.

Getting hungry just reading these!

I like the pot roast, rest of the family likes the chicken. We all love Prime Time and go every trip. We did have one dud waitress once (and it was even on my son's birthday!), but that doesn't stop us from going back!

my son had the fried chicken, he said it was ok and I got sick from the potroast, this was last year, I didn't go back this yr

The first time we went there my husband got the Pork and fell in love with it. (I think it was served on Mashed Potatoes and veggies) We ended up going a second time that week just so he could have it again!

So, does the Prime Time have something besides the dreaded Nescafe?

Another vote for the roast pork!!! It was delicious!! I ate the whole thing!! It was big enough for 2 but it was THAT good!!! Even ate the green beans!!!! :cool1:

Has anyone tried the chicken pot pie?
It sounds good, but no one has said anything about it.

My friend was wanting to book ADR's for Prime time for the first part of Jan. but the TA told her that it was closed for renovations. I haven't read anything about that anywhere. Does anyone know??

The fried chicken is fabulous. My DH had the pot roast and said it was very very good. I just wish they didn't give you so many veggies, which you must finish if you expect dessert. I tried to hide some green beans under my chicken breast and got busted by my "Mom". :rotfl:

I certainly hope that Prime Time is not closed for renovations! It's our favorite place and I would be very disappointed (was closed in January several years ago). Has anyone heard anything else about that?

As for the dining plan, I know that each person gets an appetizer and a dessert, but those are big dessert! Everybody gets their own? What we'd probably do is to share a milkshake with our meal and then get the s'mores. It seems like it would be way too much food, though. I would opt to share a credit, but my DD and I would probably want different entrees.

I've only eaten there for lunch but everything on the lunch menu is also on the dinner menu. I had the chicken pot pie and it was really good although it had a little more celery than I would have liked, but I just picked it out. I've also just done the onion rings as an appetizer and a chocolate shake and they have been good as well. My mom had the salmon the last time she ate there and thought that it was excellent. No matter what you get they serve large portions of food.

I have this planned for next week. I can't wait to go. I can only hope someone feeds my DS his veggies... HE IS 14 and boy would I be bribing him with that picture for a long long long time....... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I am going to guess

Me: Meatloaf
DS: Chicken
Sis: Salmon
Niece: have no clue!

But I want a PBJ shake!
