I have a group of 5 of, the youngest being 16, so pretty much all adults in size and wanted to make a lunch/dinner reservation at either 50's Prime Time (preferred) or Sci Fi.

When I chose a group of 5 to make the reservation for Prime Time a warning came up to let me know that we may be separated to two tables. Not a huge issue but something I'd rather avoid if at all possible.

Can any of you tell me how a group of 5 is seated at either of these establishments? Just curious for some input before I make the reservation.

Thanks!

The ressies always say that, no matter who makes the ADR or how many ppl in your party. Dont worry i've never seen a party separated. You will be fine.

For a group of 5 I can't see you guys be broken up. I wouldn't worry.

I can say that at Sci-Fi my wife and I had to split a car with another family but that wasn't really an issue...

Also I would try for 50's over Sci-Fi. Food is much better IMO...

Reservations frequently include the "seated at more than one table" warning, so that if it actually happens it won't be a surprise, but as much as possible CMs will try to put everyone at one table. It has happened with large groups, but with a group of 5 you won't be split up. The warning has frequently been on my reservations for 3 and in fact, even parties of 1 have gotten it.

At Sci Fi Diner the cars are set up for 6 people (3 rows of 2 each) so your family would get its own car.

Thanks to all of you for the help and information. I figured there was a reason for the warning and now I feel much better about making the reservations.
