50 pt add-on at BWV, yeah!!!!

I am so thrilled and just had to share. We just received our paperwork for our 50pt add-on at BWV through DVC. I had called about adding on about 1 month ago, just my luck it was like the day they changed their policy on add-ons. Well, I definitely wanted BWV and we were willing to take our chances. If the add-on was meant to be than it would happen, if it wasn't then we could live with what we had. Well late last week, our guide called and told me that 112 pts became available for our Feb use year and that she put in for 50pts and YEAH they came through. We just received our paperwork yesterday and can wait to send it back. Our guide was kind enough to send us a picture of BWV too. I am estatic. When we added on last yr at HH, she had sent us a picture of HH and I really wanted one of BWV and now I have both. I can't wait to frame and hang (somewhere in my house.) Anyway, we are now all set with points, we have 200 pts at BWV and 174 pts at HH. We can basically get a 2 bdrm for one week at BWV anytime except Christmas & Easter, which will be necessary when the kids are older. I am such a happy camper !

How there is no longer a wait list for add-ons directly through DVC. If you are interested in addin on through DVC, you need to contact your guide and let them know and they have to check daily to see if points are available.

Congratulations!!!! We just added on 50 points at BWV a few weeks ago (April UY) and now we have 200 points as well. I really thought that this was going to be enough for us as we plan on going every other year. Wel now, I have a bunch of relatives that want to go on our next trip, so now I need more points!!! I have a feeling this add on thing may never end

If it wasn't for the fact that we own at HH, we would definitely need more pts. We have yet to stay at HH, the kids are little and really enjoy WDW, BUT I do believe as they get older, that a week at the beach (other than the Jersey shore) might be something that they will like. Until then we will use the 7 month window to book where ever when we are using the HH points. Through banking and borrowing, going forward we will use 400 BWV pts one yr and 348 HH the other. Our normal pattern is to go once a year for about 8-10 days.

Hear about the family thing. We are taking the in-laws this upcoming trip! Should be interesting, hopefully it will be fun !
