Just popped over to the disney website and a 50% off flash sale is due to start at noon. It says selected dates but doesn't have any info up atm, hopefully someone will bag a bargain!

Just seen that too.

A lot of things going on with prices at the moment, last week I was checking the 40% offer for the Disneyland Hotel , full price around £3500, sale price £2155.
At the moment it's not showing any offers, yet the price *assume full price* is just over £2700, which is £800 or so less than the supposed full price above.
Strange.

The available dates are already here on the DLRP Magic website folks so start your planning before the booking opens at noon!

Have you got a link to the french site please?? Thanks:thumbsup2

So nothing for the fall? Doesn't that seem a bit odd considering it is the off season?

Just a heads up - there's availibility on the phone that wasn't showing online.

I got 50% off HNY for my dates, and that wasn't coming up online.

I think there will be another flash sale in July-ish, (going on the recent pattern of sales and discounts on the UK DLP site) - this will probably cover the period from July to September/beginning of October.

Generally speaking these 5-day flash sales are usually for dates of travel within a couple of months.

Aww it's only for May June July... I was hoping to find some dates in August. Flights etc booked and now just waiting to book hotels!

Here's hoping - would be so perfect to tempt DH to book a return trip a month after we get back from this trip!:cool1: We were booked within a fortnight of being back last year!:rotfl2:

Argh!

I booked the DC back in March, for 3 nights starting the 20th of July.....1 person (+ 5 guests) £667.80

Flash sale price is £477

Disappointing :(

Update: Cancelled original booking, and bebooked. Lost deposit, but still saved £120 :-)

do you not fancy adding a half board package to your one adult booking Mark? nearly £200 is a lot of food ;).

actually mark, you'll be outside your 60 day period right now won't you? So you could even (if they don't let you change without fees) cancel and re-book at the lower price, and it would only cost you the extra 10% cancellation fee ie £67.

Oh dear, 50% off, it was just too tempting so we're off in the middle of July! :rotfl2: I'd looked at a 2 night booking at the Cheyenne and it was just under £700 but we got a 3 day break for £538.50. I've tagged on the train from Ashford at a good price as well so I'll need to find out where to stay overnight - I will be asking some questions....

We haven't told the kids yet - might keep it a secret as long as we can - so they'll know by tomorrow - I can't hold my own water!

I have a 5 year old (today) lying ill on the settee with a tummy bug who will be very happy that he's big enough for BTM and Star Tours and a not quite 7 (will be the week after we go) who can now go on ARARC so we're covering some new ground!

Bet your kids will be over the moon when you do tell them! Good luck with holding off as long as you can.... I always end up telling mine straight away - can't help myself! :rotfl:

I've also got a 6 year old lying here on the settee with a stomach bug today too - she's had it since Tuesday. In fact this is the third time she's had it since Christmas! It seems like it's constantly going around her school lately and there is always someone off with it. I got it off her on Christmas Eve which wasn't good....hopefully I avoid it this time (Fingers crossed!) :headache:

Oh dear Starwberryblush, hope your DD is better soon. Horrible when these bugs keep going round and Christmas eve is a horrible time for you to have got it. Hope it all clears up soon. :wizard:

The kids have been a few times to Disney but this year, we're hoping to camp down south for a few days then go to Disney via Eurostar for a change. We'd like to keep it as a surprise but we'll see how long we can hold it!
