$50 Disney GC on sale at my Target

so I looked at our Target ad and the Disney gift card is featured on the bottom of p17 but it's shown at $50. Does that mean it's not on sale right now and that I can only get the 5% off with my Target card?

Go to Target.com find a store Houston, TX click on one, then click on view store add. I found it on page 17, then print it out.

I don't think my WalMart carries them. :(

Found it..thanks! I thought our Wal Marts had them, but now not so sure. What I did was download the iphone app for that location and the the ad is viewable on my phone, so I didn't need to print :thumbsup2 I think I will head over there tonight and see if a) they carry them, and b) if it works. I'll let you know how it goes if I do make it over there :)

Yes, that means it's not on sale, it's just regular price..isn't that silly? Still 5% off is better than full price!

:thumbsup2

Drats! Well, I'll just wait until I get 5 Rx's and then get 10% off...I'm not in any big rush to get them. Just got back from a cruise and probably won't go again until next year :)

Wish I had known about these Target cards before!

Can't wait to hear if it works for you:goodvibes I don't shop Wal-Mart all that much so I can't remember if they sell Disney cards either.

Did you see the Safeway promo that started yesterday? I posted about it in another thread (about other ways to say 5% on Disney cards). Might be better than the Target deal. I'm gonna go later today to find out.

No I didn't see it, I will take a look. Thanks for the heads up! BTW added another 10 my coke rewards points today, I think I'll have a code for you by next week even maybe. Don't mind at all if it'll help you with your flights. That combined with the anniversary sale might save us both a decent amount :thumbsup2

Awesome!!

I scored $1000 in GC's today for $872 at my Target today in Eastern Washington state. Totally just bumped into the rack and noticed the sale. So thankful they are on sale here as we are taking a "bonus" trip this fall for me to run my first 1/2 marathon.

That is AWESOME!!!!! Nothing like saving $128 to brighten up your day! :goodvibes

You got a nice savings on your purchase :0)
I'm going to my local target today after work. I called my closest store and was informed the GCs are in the electronics dept. Would never had thought to look for them there.

Nice savings! Even if I can't save on this deal, always happy to hear about others saving :cool1:

So excited! The Disney GC's are on sale for $46 in the Portland metro area, so I was able to buy $2200 worth of GC's for $1922.80 (using my redcard)! Saved $277.20!!!! I immediately went home and got all 44 cards entered onto the WDW system to pay off our trip... Now I'm just crossing my fingers for free dining!!

So glad I saw this posted here, as I cleaned out the remaining GC's at two of our local Target's on Monday night - if it had been later in the week, I might not have been able to find any available!

I hear you. My local one rarely has good deals but if I go to the one that is only 5-10 minutes away from that one, different story.

I think different targets and walmarts, etc fall in different economical districts? We live in a "Ritzy" area (we are not) and next town over is not and there are huge price difference in food and dry goods for WalMart?

Just returned from our local Target, where they are on sale but sold out. Somebody bought all they had, and got a rain check for 75 more! I was able to get a rain check too. Now I just have to hope they get that many cards in stock before my rain check expires in July.

Good luck, Linda! Hope it works:goodvibes

No good news. I went to my local Walmart yesterday and they do not sell Disney Gift Cards. My DH stopped off at one on his way home from work to check for me and they do not sell them either.

Oh well - maybe the Target in my area will have them on sale soon. We do not have to pay off our cruise until June 24 so I still have a few weeks for someone out there to have them on sale.

Okay a few quick questions for you.

DH works at Target and said that they don't do rainchecks for gift cards. However, unless it says no rainchecks in the ad or on the shelf, they will allow it.

Also, as for the other person having a rain check for 75 of them, DH wasn't sure how the team member could tell. They don't store it in their system. They really have no way of telling.

He also said that the rain check reserves the price, not the product. Also, Target doesn't notify you when they get things in. It's up to you to either call the store or go in. So, if you keep checking then you should be good to go.

Are there no other Target's near you? If so I would call and see if they have the gift cards in stock.

Good luck!

That's exactly what mine says. Proud sponsors of Target racing. $50 entertainment cards (Disney, Harley Davidson, iTunes) for $50.

I called our Wal-Mart and the manager said they don't carry them either...rats! Oh well, nice thought :) I'm going to take my TX Target ad into Target this weekend and see if they just might honor the price. Sometimes it depends on who you talk to and when. I have to go in anyway, so I'll give it a shot!

If they are in a different region I really can't imagine them honoring the price. If it was another store ad then they do it, but a regional flyer I can't imagine them doing that.

Good luck though! Every little bit of savings helps!!
