5 The Magic Number at Disney?

Is 5 the magic number at Disney? DVC members can purchase discount tickets for themselves and 5 guests. You now have an automatic "gratuity" added to your dining check if you have more than 5 in your party. Is this Disney's form of birth control? DH and I are being penalized for being married and having a large family! You would think Disney would want us to go forth and multiply....that way we could keep bringing them more customers!!! (There's even only five little uh....whatevers in the group hug!)

....and the hotel rooms also can only accommodate 5 guests.

DDE is for up to 10 diners...so that's 2 groups!

I thought the automatic gratuity was for everyone now? Did they change it back to 5 or more?

In addition....most Disney resorts (non DVC) only accomodiate 4 NOT 5. I could never understand this. Prior to purchasing DVC it was difficult for us to find a room to accomodiate all 5 in our family.

There might be somthing to this......
