Take your music player - iPod, Zune, Sansa... whatever and put it on shuffle or random. Then post the FIRST FIVE that get played. You can't skip songs just because they are embarrassing. Tell us why they are in or on your player.
1. Drift Away - Dobie Gray..... I'm a 70's music nut. Have never played it at an event ( as a DJ ) and probably never will, but I always have a great time listening to it.
2. Fooled Around And Fell in Love - Elvin Bishop.... sort of the same as above, but the actual song rings true for me.
3. Make a Good Gumbo - Tab Benoit and Amanda Shaw..... cajun music. My family and I saw an IMAX movie about Hurricane Katrina. They sold this CD in the store as you left the theater. I love Cajun music.
4.Sexbomb - Tom Jones.... probably because I think Tom Jones is one of the coolest dudes in music. It is 2008 and this cat still wears a leisure suit!
5. Hey Mister! ( She Was My Baby Last Night ) - Candye Kane ..... A swing song. A fun song. A song about lesbian lovers. What more can ya ask for?

but fooled around and fell in love is.
This is from the "Now that's What I Call Christmas" CD. I bought it for a few songs -- this would not be one them. At first I only loaded the songs I liked onto iTunes. Then a few weeks ago a friend calls asking if I have any Christmas music. Her son was bugging her for some and she couldn't find her Christmas CDs. So I put both discs into iTunes and burned her a copy. And thanks for the reminder that I can now remove it!
. Nuff said.
It's on my iPod as well.
I never heard that one you mentioned...off to find it and download it....
