My ipod has everything from rap (only a couple ;) I swear) to showtunes. I have pretty diverse musical taste. My kids inherited that from me and were sometimes made fun of when they were younger but their friends have gotten use to it now.

1. Steven Curtis Chapman- Christmas Is All in the Heart. It's on my iPod because I haven't deleted my Christmas playlist yet. :lmao: I got it because I needed a new Christmas CD and I like SCC, so it seemed like a good match.

2. 20th Century Fox Fanfare from the Return of the Jedi extended soundtrack. I had to put ALL tracks from my Special Edition soundtrack on the iPod. ;)

3. Can You Feel the Love Tonight- The Lion King Soundtrack. On for obvious reasons. ;) And because it makes me :sad1:.

4. I'm Not Who I Was- Brandon Heath. It came on one of those "various artists" CDs.

5. I Was Only Kidding- Weird Al Yankovic. What can I say? I'm a geek. :lmao:

We Didnt Start the Fire- Billy Joel

Whisky in the Jar- Metallica

Amazing[kaskade remix]-Seal

6 Gun Quota- Seether

Three Times a Lady- Cobra Starship

i have a wide genre of music over here:rotfl:

Me -- Disney's Beauty and the Beast (the Broadway show)
Friends in Low Places -- Garth Brooks (the Double Live extended version) -- Best. Concert. Ever.

This Backyard -- Jessica Sonner: I'm a huge Colbie Caillat fan, and she was one of Colbie's friends on her Myspace page, so I looked her up, and liked her, so I bought her album on iTunes. Good acoustic guitar.

How Far We've Come -- Matchbox 20

Cold Shower Tuesdays -- Bowling for Soup. Uh, can't even remember this one...

Lessons Learned -- Carrie Underwood. Eh. It's aiight.

I teach an "mommy and me" interval strength training class where I use music to choreograph exercises and we sing to the kids. I am not jamming away to this on the treadmill.

Imagination Movers "I Want My Mommy"

Sublime Lovin'

Nirvana Smells Like Teen Spirit

I actually have a lot of rap and pop on my Ipod...so suprising mix I got here!

Oh fun! I wanna play!

1. Ain't it Fun - Guns 'n Roses Greatest Hits
I don't even know this song. Its just on my iPod because the rest of the CD is.

2. Gone - Daughtry
Another one that I have the whole CD downloaded. But I LOVE Daughtry, and I do know this song.

3. Pharaoh's Dreams Explained - Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Soundtrack
I was in "Joseph" 12 years ago, and I love the music!

I love me some Abba! Reminds me of going on car trips as a child when we'd listen to the cassette tape in my dads Chevy Nova.

5. Tearin Up My Heart - N'SYNC
Because I love me some boy bands! :)

1. Teach Your Children by Crosby Stills and Nash
2. Rich Girl by Hall and Oates

4. Never Die Young by James Taylor
5. Waiting for a Girl Like You by Foreigner

My DH gave me my mp3 (Zen Vision) for Christmas and preloaded most of the songs that are on there. So I don't really know what all is on there.

Ok my five are;

1. Cast no shadow - Oasis

2. River - Joni Mitchell (love this song, heard it for the first time when Robert Downey junior sang it on Ally McBeal and just had to buy the original)

3. Big girls don't cry - Fergie

4. Say Something - James

5. Like a Prayer - Madonna

Evan Rachel Wood - "Blackbird" - I knew watching "Across the Universe" that I'd love the soundtrack, and I did. This isn't my favorite, but still awesome. I didn't think ERW would sing well at all.

I haven't heard this, but I knew she could sing wonderfully, because she sang a couple of times on Once and Again!

OK, this will probably be embarassing, let's see what pops up...

Way Back Home, The Wreckers
It's Hairspray, James Marsden, Hairspray Sountrack
Something called Lead-In: Parent, broadway soundtrack of Annie
Ay, Ay, Ay It's Christmas, Ricky Martin and Rosie O'Donnell (I guess I found my embarassing song LOL)
Brand New Year, SheDaisy

And for the record, Weather With You is my FAVORITE Crowded House song, it's fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the Bound-- Fiona Apple
Wake Me Up When September Ends-- Green Day
Fix You-- Coldplay
4 In the Morning-- Gwen Stefani
Across the Universe-- Fiona Apple

I have noticed that my Shuffle Songs mode tends to bring up sets of songs that are in similar genres, or even a few by the same artist. Anyone else notice this too?

1. Ain't it Fun - Guns 'n Roses Greatest Hits
I don't even know this song. Its just on my iPod because the rest of the CD is.

5. Tearin Up My Heart - N'SYNC
Because I love me some boy bands! :)

G & R and N'SYNC on the same iPod? Blasphemy!

Sounds neat, I'll pull up some songs from my Media Monkey!

I Get around - The Beach Boys, because it's one of the most fun songs ever.

Bostony - Mike Hall, from a CD of fiddle music I got for more exposure to the sounds of it and ended up loving.

Song for the Asking - Simon and Garfunkel. S&G are high on the list of my favorite artists ever, so I had to put their greatest hits album on my computer playlist so I wouldn't wear the CD out more than it already was. :rotfl:

So Long, Farewell from The Sound of Music soundtrack that I'm so in love with.

True Colours - Phil Collins, my first or second favorite song of his. I checked out his CD from the library for just this one track, rofl.

1. This Love- Maroon 5
2. Cupids Chokehold- Gym Class Hereos

2. Cocaine Blues-Walk the Line(Joaquin Phoenix)

Love the movie and love the song

3. Dr.Who theme music

No suprise by now

4. Hit Me Up(Happy Feet)

Cute song

5. Torchwood theme music

My other current passion

Okay... I have 4200 songs on my itunes/ipod, so I expect this to be completely random.

1. "Defying Gravity," Wicked Original Broadway Cast - one of my favorite musicals
2. "Maison Des Lunes," Beauty and the Beast Original Broadway Cast - weird, two musicals in a row
3. "Christmas Vacation," +44 - I love Christmas music and have a ridiculous amount of it
4. "Father Christmas," Action Action - okay, really weird that now it gave me two Christmas songs in a row, too. I don't think I've ever even listened to this one.
5. "The Music of the Night," Phantom of the Opera movie soundtrack - another one of my favorite musicals

That's really weird that it only picked songs from two genres.:confused3 None of those are the music that I listen to on a daily basis. I also never really use the shuffle all songs on my ipod, since it would give me random stuff like this... I put everything into playlists, and listen to those.

Killin' Time - Clint Black: I LOVE THIS SONG! It's so fun to sing!!!
Sweet Emotion - Aerosmith: It's a bad-a song....I love it.
Grim Grinning Ghosts from Haunted Mansion: Who doesn't love a good Disney song?
La Tortura - Shakira: Shakira is great...and I know some of the words to this song, plus I just love Spanish music.
Hands Down - Dashboard Confessional: This song makes me cry it's so sweet...
