We are staying the first week of December and wanted to know what choices we have, WHich buildings sleep 5?

Hi Wenpop,

We stayed at POR last May. We were actually 5 plus an infant. The buildings in the Alligator Bayou section have trundle beds and those rooms will sleep 5. We were in building 14. Both 14 and 15 are close to the pool and the food court. About a 5 minute walk. The resort is beautiful.

Just note that the buildings are 2 stories and there are no elevators, so if you need to be on the first floor, make sure you request that.

Have fun

Just remember that the trundle bed will not sleep an adult. They are over a foot shorter than a regular bed. So if you are five adults, this is not goin to be an option for you. (Unless one of you is under 5')

We are 2 adults, and 3 kids, plus an infant... The one that gets to sleep on the trundle bed is 5... If I can get him to sleep on it, he sleeps with us all the time.......

Did you pay for a room with a trundle bed? I've been told by a CM that if you get a room with a trundle bed and use the bed, you will be charged $15 more a night even if you didn't book a room with a trundle bed. We are going in March and are hoping for a room with a trundle, but don't absolutely need one. What's the deal with paying for the trundle bed?

Wenpop,
that's too funny. My 3 year old was supposed to sleep in the trundle. Yea right, he always sleeps in our bed. So my DH slept in the trundle and I shared a bed with my DS 3 and DS 3 months

We loved Building 14. It is the most convenient, has no parking lot view, and still feels like you are away from everything. I would try to get that one!

If you are a family of 5, they will automatically put you in Alligator Bayou and charge you the 15.00 extra a night for the trundle. Some people have "lucked" out and recieved the trundle without paying, but we absolutely need this bed, so we didn't want to take any chances in not getting one.
