MVMCP no refunds

Just checking - we are aiming to take my (83.5 yo) Dad for my DD2's 10th birthday and will want to get MVMCP for when we are there - if he ends up not coming (this happened once or twice in the past) - the value of the MVMCP ticket will just go into our wallet to be used for something else, right?

It is tied to the guest to use for another special event.

It can’t be used by someone else or for a regular ticket.

I just purchased MVMCP tickets and MDE shows me the ability to reassign them to different guests, so not sure how/when they take away that option?

Also, in the past, we had an au pair change her mind and were able to get her a day of ticket during a sold out party from some guest relation desk somewhere inside the liberty square area. Not guaranteed, but might be something you could try day of if you don’t want to buy in advance.

We cancelled MNSSHP party tickets last year - left a cruise sick, so just wanted to go home. Called Disney ticketing and they cancelled them and told us we had to use the funds on another special event ticket within a year. Wish you could just use the money on a regular park ticket, but that wasn’t an option. A refund also wasn’t an option.

ack. so sounds like I may be able to reassign to a different guest but only for a special event...? Maybe I will buy one *after* my dad gets his plane tickets sorted out.
