I went back in threads. Totally bummed to see we are too late. I just found you all today. Oh well.

Too bad you missed the cut-off.... I am not participating in the FE; but it is still fun to be part of the thread and count down and share info with others who are all looking forward to the same cruise

I noticed on another meet that they kept a second list for people who joined late. That way, anyone who hasn't finished their gifts can add you. Anyone that did finish won't feel bad if they don't get one for you.

If no one has any strong objections, I don't mind doing that at all. I certainly haven't finished mine yet and it's no problem to add you in. You may not get a gift from everyone if you don't mind that.

Any thoughts?

I haven't finished (or started) mine and neither has my mom, so I am good to add them.

Sounds great! I have ideas churning in my head for my boys and i to work on. Trying a little solicitation with some local contacts too! BTW, any runners out there that might like to hook up during the cruise? Looking forward to cool weather to run in versus how warm it's getting here in Florida!

I have a fish extender from one of our other cruises. I have no idea where I got it. We have always have had 3 cabins for the 6 people in our group so at one time we must have had 3 of them but now I only have this one. I can't sew a straight hem so I know I'm not going to make two more fish extenders and the ones on ebay seem a little pricey. Does anyone know that they are using anything else to serve as fish extenders and are willing to share ideas?

A canvas bag - keep it narrow as the width of the space is about 8"

tack down the front handle so it's not swinging freely - you want people to be able to put things in there, too.

decorate with markers, fabric paint, iron-on materal

secure the back handle after you've hooked it over the fish by using a zip-tie (like the newest handcuffs - the tiny strips of plastic)
