5/31/11 -- Chilling on the Wonder

Has anyone used a cell phone before aboard the Wonder? We're considering buying a pay-as-you-go so we're not charged roaming fees etc...any tips, suggestions, ideas? Thanks!

You might be able to get coverage when in port, otherwise, probably no luck. I use my phone when boarding in Port Canaveral, FL before Sail Away. In Alaska, I can't imagine we'll be near any cell phone towers except in the 3 ports.

Thank you! We were married at Disney on 11/30/2010...It was a-mazing!

So, here is a silly question...can only adults do a FE???? I'm curious...and like the idea of a little extra pixie dust...:wizard:

Just as soon as I posted "upcoming wedding" I thought, well they could be doing a delayed honeymoon! LOL!

Anyone can do the FE. On my first cruise that I did an FE with, we had several cabins that were adults only. I had three types of gifts... One for adults and one for kids, and then a cabin gift.. I did the adult and kid gift one day, and then another day I went back and left the cabin gift. I originally had typed what I did, but I may use those same ideas for this cruise, so I deleted it. LOL! Not really sure what I'm going to do this time. It's fun and you can spend as much or as little as you want on it.

It really is fun to come back to your room each day and find surprises. At first my husband was like, yeah there's something there, but by the end he was just as excited to find things as my kids were.

Very delayed honeymoon...We have had this books for as long as we had the wedding planned! :rolleyes1

OK sign us up...7122 2 adults!

Now off to find an FE and something to make....

Thanks :) This is the first big trip for my friend that's travelling with us and it'll be the first time away from his twin in their 20+ years, so he's a little nervous about keeping in touch! The internet cafe will come in handy I'm sure!

I've been lurking for a while. I could never remember which cabins belonged to which people in our group. :)There are 6 of us who will be on this cruise. We are
Cabin 7039 (Steve & Marie)
Cabin 7041 (Bev & Will - age 16)
Cabin 7541 (Dora & Katie - age 19)

We would love to be added to the FE list.

I wonder if they will be showing the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie on the ship?

Welcome! I'll add you!!

Is it released before we sail or while we are sailing? I've lost track! If so then yes it will be onboard. That would be great!

USA release date is May 20, so can not imagine it not being shown.

If I'm not wrong, this is in order:
:welcome: aboard
See you've brought your own party:
Don't forget your own popcorn::
for the pirate: movie

Fantastic! :cool1:

It's even more fun watching a "Pirates" movie while onboard a Disney ship.

About 4 hours from Huntsville. We've been to the Air and Space Museum there. That's a neat place.:thumbsup2

Marie - there are four (4) families - not a group - from Huntsville on this cruise - and DisneyFalcon has family here.

Yep! They'll be on the cruise! As well as my in laws from Jackson! If you see anyone decked out in Auburn apparel every day, it's probably one of those two families.:)
