5:30 parade -> 6pm PS...can I make it?

I've never seen the parade at DS, and notice is starts at 5:30 during my June visit. Can I catch at least part of it b/4 my 6pm PS at Hollywood and Vine? Where do you suggest we stake out a place for the parade. How long does it take to go by? Does it run from Star Tours to front of the park? I'm thinking the Star Tour area would be the place to catch it...will Star Wars Weekend events hinder this idea?

I think your plan will work just fine, but than I haven't been to Star Wars weekend event before. Parade doesn't last 1/2 hour, you will be viewing it where it begins (star tours), shouldn't be too much foot traffic to H + V as most guests will still be viewing parade on Hollywood Blvd. I'm assuming you will walk between Indy and echo lake to get there. I suggest getting a spot on Hollywood Blvd right outside H&V to view the parade. It doesn't take too long, and as soon as it passes you by, you'll already be right at H&V. I've done the same thing before, except my PS was at 50's Prime Time Cafe and we made it in plenty of time.

I agree--shouldn't be a problem.

Wherever you decide to view the parade, make sure that you are on the H&V side of the parade route. If you get caught on the wrong side of the street, the CMs won't let you cross until the entire parade has passed through.
