Our guest room is open the 10th... but we won't be there. (So please take the dog out before bed... ha ha!)

That's the night of our annual company party... which is always a themed party that I have to coordinate. (Unfortunately, I don't pick the theme... my crazy boss does...) This year, its "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame"... every must come dressed as their favorite rock star (wives can dress as the 'groupie of their rocker', as 95% of our company is men)... what they don't know is that they will have to PERFORM as that rocker at some point in the evening!!!! Should be fun. Last year was a Parrothead party, and the year before was SNL...

Hey all! Sounds like everyone had a great Christmas! Thanks for the birthday wishes!
We're back from Ohio. Glad to be back where it's sunny and warm and back with Mike. Literally, the sun was out for a TOTAL of 15 minutes the entire time the kids and I were in Ohio.
Had a great time with family. LOTS of food. Way too much food. Problems getting home because of some ATL power outage and then bad fog in Dayton. Ended up having to reschedule a flight home and got home on my birthday morning. What a great gift--seeing the sun did not burn out!
House is coming along great. All of the tile is in! Pool is almost done. It's all painted. We got a closing date of 1/30!
Probably better unpack at some point. Lots of good gifts to put away.

Good morning all. I'm off today & tried to sleep in this morning but couldn't. I was awake at 6:30 AM!!!

Jim, looks & sounds like y'all had a great family cruise!

Stacey, have fun at the resort.

Diana, your Christmas dinner sounds wonderful.

My sister, husband & kids drove up yesterday. Everyone is still sleeping. I'll definitely need a nap today!!! Tonight is the game. I'm going to be our designated driver and just have my cocktails when we get home. Hopefully there aren't too many crazies out on the road tonight!!!

We will be in Sebring on the 8th - the morning of the 10th Then off to WDW for a day or so.I might even get to WDW on the 8th.

gaRRy - they say I can come and meet with you in WDW on the 10th - so how about the afternoon - early evening. Where can we meet up - maybe for an early dinner? And how about the Scuba's and maybe the Ohio-Florida Mice family - anybody else. Hedgie can be a rock star and go to the party afterwards with KikiKaren and family - I can go to the Kingdom and get on the teleporter at Stitch's place.

We will be at WDW on the 10th and 11th. Sharon and I are running the 1/2 marathon on Saturday and I'm running the full on Sunday.

HAPPY NEW YEAR from some where near St. Paul, MN.

Matt and I have had perfect traveling weather. It is really cold, but the roads have been clear. Tonight we are staying in Deluth,MN. That will leave a short 90 min drive to the resort in the morning.

It's pizza and bed for us tonight. Matt wants to watch bowl games. I hope your plans are warmer.

Angie - I'm sure you are happy - LSU pretty much dominated last night, didn't they?

We're looking forward to our traditional gathering with friends for good food and football this afternoon. Usually we get together with two other families, but one family is off to Dallas for the Cotton Bowl, so we spent joined them for dinner last night.

John made Oyster Stew and Clam Chowder. We had good tamales too from a local tamale shop - yum!!!

Today, more Oyster Stew and Chowder and tamales - yum!!! - unfortunately, our friends weren't able to bring back meat pies from Natchedoches, LA We'll miss one of our favorite traditions -

Its about 65 and cloudy here at home... pretty windy too. Good day for staying inside to watch the bowl games... but right now, I'm watching the NHL Winter Classic... the one OUTDOOR game the NHL plays all year... they're playing at Wrigley Field. I'd love to be there!!!! (but I wouldn't love the cold...)
