Yes, identicial camera. This way I have a back up in case it ever gets flooded.

I figured it is better to buy it now since it is discountinued than to have to buy a whole new housing setup if it is ever flooded.

Now I am on a quest for a new wet suit for Matt. Medium Tall. Divers Direct did not have any so the search is on. I'll check out some LDS today.
I figured that's what you'd do.

Check out Bare Wetsuits they have a medium tall size. I like mine!

OH MY! I checked out Bare Wetsuits and this one costs $1,500!!! AND, to top it off it won't protect your hands and head from shark bites. This poor person has lost vital body parts!!

Saw a Moray! EWWWWW! No thank you!

So how did Lisa do in her competition (that is why you went right)?

Yes. She did well, but did not place as high in the standings as her last event. This one was very unique in that there were 16 teams and their top 4 gymnasts were in this session. The other gymnasts on their squads competed later in the day. Lisa's Team only had 4 members in Level 8 to start with and one the girls quit, so the remaining 3 girls were put with the "top" girls. It was fun to see some amazing routines. She competes in Daytona Beach this weekend, so at least we don't have to travel out of town. It's off to Tampa the following week. Then Karen, Nick & KT come to visit :cheer2: :cheer2:

The girl quitting wasn't unusual. She was in High School and something about the additional homework, school activities, & dating starts to "call" to them over spending 5 nights a week at the gym. Since Lisa is only 10, we haven't encountered those problems, yet. I figure we have a good 5 years left. (I hope).

Thanks. I'll check it out.

I'll also ignore all the comments from the peanut gallary about the invisible man. At times I have felt like I was diving with one. "Matt, I'm over here" "Matt, why is the water purple all around you" "Matt, where are you?".......

I had a productive day....we did 3 therapy sessions...she's doing great, just needs to not be so nervous about hurting herself....she has titanium parts, they aren't going anywhere!

Stacey, what kind of surgery did your mom have? Glad to hear that she's doing well.

Hope we've got no Amish cruisers on the Double Scoop Board (then again, I doubt it, as they wouldn't be online)... if so, I apologize in advance... if not, this just arrived in my Inbox and I thought it was hysterical....

Top ten signs your Amish teen is in trouble...

10. Sometimes stays in bed until after 5 a.m.
9. In his sock drawer, you find pictures of women without bonnets.

8. Shows up at barn raisings in full "KISS" makeup.

7. When you criticize him, he yells, "Thou sucketh."

6. His name is Jebediah, but he goes by "Jeb Daddy."

5. Defiantly says, "If I had a radio, I'd listen to rap."

4. You come upon his secret stash of colored socks.

3. Uses slang expression, "Talk to the hand, 'cause the beard ain't

listening."

2. Was recently pulled over for driving under the influence of cottage

cheese.

1. He's wearing his big black hat backwards.

For my birthday I asked for a P-Value. I had to "splain" it to Sharon. I'm going to have to buy that myself.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Sorry, that one went over my head!!

Keep the regulator IN your mouth son!! :rotfl2:

Been thinking about one myself.......

LOL, just thought about the story Red tells about the size needed and the conversation with the gal at Fifth Dimension......

KiKipug -important question for you. My neighbor and I are planning our schedule for Saturday races, both the ARCA and the Bud Shootout.

The ARCA starts early, like 4:00 and the Bud Shootout at 8 PM. Are they going to wait that long between the two races or will they start the Bud Shootout about 30 minutes after the ARCA?

I ask because we are trying to decide if we have time to walk back to the car and fire up the grill between races or if we will need to stay in our seats between the races and eat what we bring in.

I know you know someone who might know the schedule. Your input is highly valued here so what do you think?

I can't believe Red told you that story. I know exactly what you mean. Funny!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

More good news for today.

I went to Orlando with my neighbor. We ended up stopping by Fresh Market which is a gourmet grocery store.

They had Banfi!!!

We cleaned them out. It's nice to have another supplier. Now we are trying to figure out how to get Banfi into the races on Saturday night.

The ARCA race should be done around 6 or so, and there is a lot of 'pregame' before the Shootout... depending on where you park, you might want to reconsider going out and coming back in. Not sure what their 're-entry' policy is... I think they do a hand-stamp out one of the gates. I usually stay put once I get there, but then again, I usually have the kids with me.

Looking forward to Saturday's races... my brother has never been to Daytona, and has been a race fan since the Cale Yarborough days. He'll love it... wish he could stay for the 500!

500 is to long for me. I like the shorter races. The best seat in the house for the 500 is my chair at home, even though we will be in the Winston Tower (or what ever they call it now a days).

We have a parking pass at Hooters so it is only a 5 minute walk. Thanks for the info. I will pass it along.

I agree... I have free tix to the 500 for the infield ("redneck nation"), but stay home, as the 500 is too big of a crowd for a 7 yr old EXTREMELY active son... wouldn't be bad if Dad weren't so "busy" that day... but forget it!! We'll watch from home, too. I have Nextel tower seats for the Pepsi 400 (which we pay for... no employee perks in the good seats), but I don't bring the kids to that one.
