Happy Hump Day!

Got some snow overnight and more coming for this weekend. Ahhhh - winter in Chicago. :D

Well I've got some cards to make so I can't stay online too long. Off to read the boards.

Have a great day everyone!

That all makes perfect sense, and you will love it...but....(making a verrrry sad face).....my kids are still in school....(as are everyone else's, another plus for you)......but I can't come....(light comes on.....she realizes that it may have been planned that way)......you will love it though........(she's feeling embarrassed, this may be one of those second honeymoon things)......
HAVE FUN!!! If you have any questions, I'd love to try to help.

We've done Disneyland a couple of times and do love it. Just have to get there for the 50th anniversary and what better time than the holidays. Actually we're talking about meeting up with a friend from these boards who will be stopping there on the way back from Hawaii.

Sorry you can't make it - would have been fun to spend some time together. Totally understand about school and all.

Wow... only 6 posts since I signed off the boards last night - I actually have time to catch up this morning before the big 2nd grade awards ceremony, and there's nothing to catch up on!!!!!! Amazing!

Another chilly day in FL... time to replace my self-induced tag to something more fitting... "sunny yes, beautiful, no??" maybe. It was pretty darn cold this morning while I stood pumping $50 in gas into my truck!!!! This 45 degree start to my day's gotta go!!!

Have a great day, everyone!!!!

HI GUYS

TROUBLE MIGHT BE GOING

gaRry
So does TROUBLE have another name???

Welcome gaRry! We all hope you and family can make it! There will be good diving at Cozumel.

Sounds like Kikipug's family and the Scubas are a match. Gourmet cooking Dads and all. Karen, could you tell your DH he needs to get scuba certified?

Mary, the Southwest e-mail we got yesterday said they're having a SALE between Chicago and FL. Now that's a cure for cold weather! Except Karen claims it's cold there too.

This is the time of year that you don't tell him to do ANYTHING... (its a little busy at Daytona Intl Speedway at this time of year... hmm... wonder why???)... but I'll get around to it sometime after the 4th of July... I figure we've got plenty of time, with the cruise being so far off... he thinks I'm crazy for even thinking about it yet.

Cold is a relative term here... it was 42 this morning, but is up to 60 already... can't complain!!

Much as I would love that - got my vacation days booked already for 2005

2 days for a wedding in June.

5 days for WDW in June

5 days for SS Member Cruise in September

4 days for Disneyland in December

It will be a long dry spell between here and June but well worth it.

(Honestly, in terms of the bus- I think somebody b----'ed loud enough, after breaking out the 2 mile measuring tape- used to be that 1/2 our complex got the bus and 1/2 didn't... we were on the 'didn't side til this year.)

I am sure we are just short of the 2 mile cut off. However, we have numerous Moms that drive their kids to school daily. We are one of the few parents tha actually make our children ride the bus, walk / ride bikes to school (depends on the school).

Tinksdad - there is a diving question on the main board you should look at. It's about Cozumel.

gaRry - we definately want you on this one!

Oh yeah... because you are mean and rotten parents, right!! Believe me- I feel the same way. (My kids can't wait to be able to ride their bikes to school!) If my kids went to the school they were zoned for, I CERTAINLY wouldn't be carting them back and forth every day!!!!

OH MY. A friend told me about this today at swim, gym and art and I'm going to try it. You go assemble you dinners at this place (no prep work, no cutting, no clean up) and then bring them home and freeze them. For about $200 you get 12 entrees (although we'd get more than that b/c one entree feeds 4-6 adults and no way the kids would eat that much so I'd split them in 2 and end up with 24.) You can pick your meals from a menu that changes monthly and most stuff looks pretty darn good (better than I'm cooking at home!) It takes about 2-2.5 hours to go through the process.

stacey...not that you NEED help, but you're always complaining about making dinner and they DO have one in Phoenix!
putting this on the other thread too!
