Karen & Mike - you may not be seeing sun, but all we've seen since late last night is SNOW, SNOW, SNOW! Mark loves it, but while I think it is pretty as long as I have to drive in it (which I do) I don't care for it.

I want to live in the Scuba's house! No I don't want to move in with you - just love your house. How I would love to be able to come home from work and take a dip in the pool! I've got house envy!

This thread does have the potential of going over 24,000. It took us 6 months to get to our first 1000, then at the end we were doing 1000 in 2 days!

There was a lot of fluff in some of those posts, but I don't think the fluff queen is sailing with us on this voyage so maybe we'll stay a little more on topic. Who am I kidding!

Stacey, Find one of Amanda's posts--the ones with all of our info on it (rooms/names/kids/etc)....
then take your cursor and highlight everything on that page. You'll find that some words "magically" appear....

those are the "white comments."

Keep checking them b/c she says she'll update as necessary. She started that when there was a rumor of a quiz--sort of a "fallen comrade thing" like on Survivor.

I posted this on the 12-18 thread...I put some pics up on the Community Photo Board. I looked at them a bit ago, and it seems that some are double-posted...go figure.

Kevin, How do I reduce the file size (or change it) of a scanned photo, so that I can upload it? My neat turtle shot is a TIF file.

As far as the photo goes; you can change the phyical size of the image in a photo program like Paint Shop Pro, or just set the image size on your posting to what every you want using hypertext formatting. For example

with width and height call outs.

Here is an interesting thought: The 10 days of Holiday Magic thread set records when it reached 24,000 posts before the cruise.

But I looked and that thread was on page 47 on 10/16/2003, 14 months before the cruise.

This thread is at 47 pages a good 17 months before the cruise. We could beat the record of 24,000 if we keep up this pace.

It will be tough because there were many days of heavy posting so we will just have to see. Maybe we will be the pirate of the thread record.

Since we have some of the same "competitive" spirit in this thread, I think this can be achieved.
