Even with the updates, we're still the 'basement dwellers'... oh well- still better than waving from the Port as you all pull away. My TA claims to have upgrade tricks up her sleeve... lets hope so! If not, someone will have to send bread and water down daily.

Here is an interesting thought: The 10 days of Holiday Magic thread set records when it reached 24,000 posts before the cruise.

But I looked and that thread was on page 47 on 10/16/2003, 14 months before the cruise.

This thread is at 47 pages a good 17 months before the cruise. We could beat the record of 24,000 if we keep up this pace.

It will be tough because there were many days of heavy posting so we will just have to see. Maybe we will be the pirate of the thread record.

All this talk about Florida. Mike just yelled into me "what channel is the weather channel?" and I said "37." He turned there and...it wasn't the weather channel. I heard a groan and he said "that's what it is in FLORIDA." oops. 59 here. 59 stands for the number of inches of rain we are getting!

three storms hitting the US soon...all expected to converge over the Ohio and Tennessee valleys. Expected to cause tornados, rain, and severe flooding....and what we have NOW is NOT the storm...that's what is COMING! do we have a smiley wearing hiphuggers bailing out the basement?

Amanda, love the "meanie" comment about the repo cruise. Sorry, but I think between DD and I, we will be over the limit on our luggage as it is. Not only are we cruising for 2 weeks, we are staying an additional 1 week in California!

My day started out with ice balls coming down on my way to work, then to snow, then to rain. Now it is snowing again and expected to get bad overnight. I can't wait to move down to Florida. I talked to DD yesterday, and she said it was HOT! LOL I think her body is in shock from being back here for Christmas, and going back to the nice sunny weather!

This is such an active thread! I come home from work, and it takes an hour to read through all your posts all day! Too bad my job won't allow us to go online........... Love the picture board Mary, I will work on getting something together soon!

I posted this on the 12-18 thread...I put some pics up on the Community Photo Board. I looked at them a bit ago, and it seems that some are double-posted...go figure.

Kevin, How do I reduce the file size (or change it) of a scanned photo, so that I can upload it? My neat turtle shot is a TIF file.

Well....heading for bed. Barb (jilljill) is coming tomorrow, and then we take off for Vegas. Hold down the fort!

LOL! I knew he was kidding, nothing would stop my move anyway. I am really looking forward to the year I can realize the Florida resident rates for my DD tuition, and the Disney one's when available will be nice also I'm having an apartment built above the garage for her so she will have her "own" apartment, but I will be saving on the huge room and board rates I am paying now! I don't think she knows there is a method to my madness.
