Yeah, having a license would help too, but she won't get that until she can think about more than one thing at a time.....
But she has seen some show that features a girl from Scottsdale whose Dad owns a car dealership. For her 16th birthday, she got an SUV and a Mitsubishi Spyder! I don't THINK so!!

Alicia once swam into the side of a pool with her head, during a lesson at day camp. They put her in a brace, and took her to the hospital in an ambulance. Once she got there, they called me (can you believe that?). It's probably a good thing that all the drama was over when I got there. She wasn't in pain or even hurt, just really needed to go to the bathroom! I think she was about 6 then.

That was an episode of "Sweet 16" on MTV (did I just admit that I watch that?). I don't remember how much that dad spent on her party. But, most of those are a few hundred thousand .. yes, I said a few hundred thousand! Those kids are SPOILED, UNGRATEFUL brats. This girl was pissed because her dad gave her a brand new Mitsubishi SUV for her b-day and wasn't going to give her the Spyder. He surprised her with the convertible Spyder at her party.

OK, now you guys have me worried. I was concerned about putting first names on the door because of the kids. You know how they say never have your kids have their names public, but I wasn't even thinking about last names. Now I don't know what to do!!!!!

Yep...and I think her party was held at the Wrigley Mansion...as in Wrigley chewing gum..... I wouldn't even spend that much money to have a wedding reception there!
Makes you wonder how they think their kids will survive in the "outside" world!

Yes, the real world will be a rude awakening. But maybe not, can you say "trust fund"? But then, maybe they spent it all on the Sweet 16 party. I think it's our kids that are in for the rude awakenings, their "trust funds" have been spent on cruising!

The guy that owns the wine shop traded me one of your bottles from my order for an extra signed one that he had left from the other night. (He's a great guy... and he'd fit right in with THIS crazy bunch, that's for sure!) He told me today that he's working on his next 'guided winery tour' (they just came back from Napa Valley)... 2008, its Tuscany... anybody wanna go???? ME! ME! ME!
