I tried to be creative tonight. This is what I came up with. What do you think?

OK, those are really cute. What program did you use Angie? What kind of clip art did you use? I love both of them...

Yep, just finished. After a very long day which is going to be many more long days before we sail. The company had use with permission of some property surrounding theirs. Well it was sold and the new developer has a major attitude and is doing everything possible to push us out. Not gonna happen. We lose the main driveway behind the building and the employee parking lot. But this lovely fence on the right appeared on Monday, right down that rear driveway.

But we were prepared for it, the two semi trailers you see were used for external storage, one for consumables(hangers, poly bags, etc..) and the other was equipment/parts storage. I've spent the past few months building a second floor above my workshop to store all the parts and we've emptied both trailers. Today was the big day, we finally found a working deal to get rid of them, with the help of two of these.

during.jpg

Now, finally both are gone, I've erected a temporary barrier out the the RR ties that the trailers were resting on, as there's a covered pit behind the ties I don't want anyone driving over and that big grey thing is our natural gas meter.

after.jpg

That's that, but I still have alot to do inside the building rearranging to make a very underutilized room into a storage room, including cleaning out onw of our stores that used to be a plant so I can use the back for long term storage as well. And two more abandoned vehicles on the corner of our property, but they're out of the way for now. All in the next 2 weeks!

You'll be able to tell who I am as the roll me onboard on the strecher...

WOW. That's about all I can say. WOW. I don't dare ever complain about being tired again!

So, is that on the shopping list? Sounds good to me!

Sounds good to me...it IS very affordable. You can get a really big, pretty piece for $100.

Now you're cooking Eddy style! Kevin Eddy, that is. It is yummy, isn't it? Next time you run into one of those pane breads, try it with that.

Not only that, but she owes it all to Kevin. If I hadn't been eating bruschetta when he made me spit it all over my computer, she'd still be a bruschetta virgin!

A T.O.P. with my creativity & door signs. pirate:

Great job! I love them!! I was thinking that it will be cool to take Mary's navigator, and wander around and look at everyone's door signs........::yes:: :thumbsup2

Night, night all! It's going to be past my bedtime by the time I get in bed.

Anyone else shocked by the AI results tonight?

Ang

I certainly was! I thought that the young voters would send him to the top!

All caught up. Guess I'll go to bed.

Had a fun night...it's so nice to just sit and visit with the "girls". The baby is starting to hold his head up, soooo cute.

Tomorrow is a big day for me. Getting my hair cut. It took me a good 4 years of letting it grow to get it to the measly point it's at now, but because it's so fine, I can't do anything with it. I'll probably come home crying. I'm sitting here looking at all these pictures of me with short hair and thinking "Are you nuts?"...I never liked it then, either. :worried:

Still no docs here. I'm wondering if my TA thought that since I registered online, I didn't need them. But that is so NOT the point. I WANT them. I always have had my wants and needs mixed up.:upsidedow

Good night!

Good morning, Jim....

Good Morning Irene.....

Good morning all from the east coast. We didn't have the bad storms last night that were expected ... either that or I slept through them. Hope some of you in FL got that rain.

Need to run to get ready & pay bills this morning.

The one with the ship I just did in Word. Although I did use Corel Photo-Paint to doctor up the Mickey life rings with our names on them. I actually got the nautical border from Microsoft's Clip Art. I tried to stretch it enough to make it fit on an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper but couldn't so I wound up doing that one in Corel Photo-Paint.

If you have images that need to be doctored, I'd be willing to help ... just email them to me & let me know what you need done. You are welcome to use any of my ideas. I don't mind it you pirate: . Send me a PM if you need help ... although I'm not quite as creative as Samantha.

Good Morning Ang - Admittedly I overslept today - very tired....but I think you were still up ahead of me...

Have a good day...

This is not good - we are having emergency wildfire alerts posted as PSA's.....hope all is well with everyone...

I only have less than 2 weeks to DIS! The contractor is going to start tearing down our old siding in a few days. We'll have everything done before we leave on vacation. The HVAC wants to schedule the new airconditioner compressor on the 22nd. That's the day before we leave, so I think it could wait until we get back. It's not like we'll be needing the air on before we leave. So much going on in the next 2 weeks, I feel like my brain might explode!

Sandi - I canot imagine - I am not sure how to get the the few things on my list without a house makeover......take it easy, I think you may need your brain on the boat!!!!!

Cruise question......

If I mail a box ahead of time, am I able to mail stuff back using the same box right from the ship? I would flatten it out and bring packing tape with me. It would be nice if I could so we don't have to lug around all that snorkel gear.

Speaking of snorkel gear...does everyone bring the fins? Hesitant about bringing them.

Thanks.

Maria - good luck to you and everyone else that has to fly - since we do nothave to fly we can lug everything with us, fins, multiple pairs of shoes, dresses, wine (actually prt) etc etc etc...In fact we have many etc's to pack up....

I've decided what one of the drawbacks to living in FL is... a 7-day cruise is only a 7-day vacation...no 'before and after' days... I'll probably be heading to JB's right from work... which, while a great way to end a workweek, most of you will already be DAYS into your vacation!!!!

Karen - I agree - which is why after the November cruise _ sais - no more --- I am taking Thursday and Friday off.....We ended up so tired in November, it interferred with the relaxing part of the vacation....

Caribbean topaz, or Rainbow topaz are all heat-treated. The only natural topaz are brown, yellow, and golden. Blue topaz is also heat-treated. There's a difference between "created" and treated. A created stone is basically a "fake" from the get-go. A treated stone is a natural stone, but enhanced for color by a process, usually heat. If you think about it, all natural diamonds are "treated".

I guess that didn't come out right. The Caribbean and rainbow topaz are REAL, they were just heated to bring out the colors.
I think they're really pretty, and they are very affordable!

For all the new cruisers - Dinsey offers a selection of jerwerly - loose stones, gold by the inch - all very nice and affordable prices. I have a gold mickey bracelet - think it cost $9.00 total dollars......

Boards are really slow!

Took my morning jog already. No...I don't usually do that...the dog escaped and I had to get him before the coyotes.

Did I really want another dog????????

Trade you for a cat.....

They say that cat's do not understand what they do.

Yell right - after yelling at mine yesterday for the vilet incident - he has been very humble, curled up on the bed all last night.....has very guilty look on his face when I hear him "jump down" from where he is not supposed to be...

Yeah right - cats are so smart they make us believe they are untrainable....

All this talk of door signs, makes me feel like a .......slug.

We have the same little green Mickey head paint chips (from HD) that we had from our July cruise.

I'll blame it on 3 reasons......
#1 Not being around a computer from 7AM-8:30 PM
#2 I'm not creative
#3 See #2 again!

Oh well..................Life will go on.....
Fran
:teacher:

Fran - we have the same mickey door ships......and chipndale signs....
