Hi Jen,

You can call DCL and asked to be switched. It is much easier to switch from early to late seating..... They may make you wait to do it on the ship, but you can at least try...

Glad you finally jumped in and joined us....

You're from my old neck of the woods - I was born and raised in Weirton, WV... I'm a big Pirate and Steeler fan from way back.... I actually got the new Roberto Clemente book to read on the cruise. He was an awesome ballplayer, and I grew up watching him play. I was lucky enough to see him play all of the home games of the 1971 world series and I was there when he got his 3000th hit....

Hope that you stay around and chat....

Between now and the cruise, I think I'm going to try making one. I might go see about the program you recommended (photoshop elements). Maybe that would help my creative juices flow. (that and a few drinks!) :thumbsup2

Drinks will definitely help. I'll have to try that method for the next one I do. (Any takers?)

You'll like PSE. It's a great program!

Well, Erin had her ultrasound this afternoon. It went fine, I guess. She was even able to drink all that water and hold it in for an hour. She was about to explode by the time we got to the radiology place, though, so they whisked her in and got the "full" part out of the way quickly. Now we just have to wait until the 22nd to get the results.

I'm always amazed that the techs can tell what anything is in those pictures. It's hard enough when it's a baby and you know what you're looking for, but when you looking at a bladder - :confused3.

Good! We got the ones with the Double Scoop Logo on the front only. Didn't have time to take picture of those at lunch, will do it later if anyone is interested.

I've been in and out most of the day. Getting ready to take Jared to his baseball game and then I get to go see my friend's new grandbaby and then have dinner with her and another friend. Yea!!!

Caribbean topaz, or Rainbow topaz are all heat-treated. The only natural topaz are brown, yellow, and golden. Blue topaz is also heat-treated. There's a difference between "created" and treated. A created stone is basically a "fake" from the get-go. A treated stone is a natural stone, but enhanced for color by a process, usually heat. If you think about it, all natural diamonds are "treated".

I guess that didn't come out right. The Caribbean and rainbow topaz are REAL, they were just heated to bring out the colors.
I think they're really pretty, and they are very affordable!

So, is that on the shopping list? Sounds good to me!

Yep, just finished. After a very long day which is going to be many more long days before we sail. The company had use with permission of some property surrounding theirs. Well it was sold and the new developer has a major attitude and is doing everything possible to push us out. Not gonna happen. We lose the main driveway behind the building and the employee parking lot. But this lovely fence on the right appeared on Monday, right down that rear driveway.

But we were prepared for it, the two semi trailers you see were used for external storage, one for consumables(hangers, poly bags, etc..) and the other was equipment/parts storage. I've spent the past few months building a second floor above my workshop to store all the parts and we've emptied both trailers. Today was the big day, we finally found a working deal to get rid of them, with the help of two of these.

during.jpg

Now, finally both are gone, I've erected a temporary barrier out the the RR ties that the trailers were resting on, as there's a covered pit behind the ties I don't want anyone driving over and that big grey thing is our natural gas meter.

That's that, but I still have alot to do inside the building rearranging to make a very underutilized room into a storage room, including cleaning out onw of our stores that used to be a plant so I can use the back for long term storage as well. And two more abandoned vehicles on the corner of our property, but they're out of the way for now. All in the next 2 weeks!

You'll be able to tell who I am as the roll me onboard on the strecher...

Yes, it sure is nice to be the first to get something for a change! The shirts are great too, thanks so much, Pam! DD was looking at the duffle, and asked "so is this to carry wine in?" Does she know us, or what?

Hey, we had a Southwestern hurricane/tornado here last night. Over 60 mph winds. Knocked over a bunch of trees and a barn!

Chatty group today. I went to work. Is the Lost finale tonight, or next week? See, didn't even keep a copy of my own list.

Wow. I'm really surprised that it didn't come in a box, or some sort of shipping bag. Hmmm.... your mailman must know you well to get that to you with no other information than "EDDY" on it. :)

Ok, Diana....we did it....we had Bruschetta with our dinner!

Couldn't find any of that fancy bread you spoke of, so I got very thinly sliced italian from the deli/bakery section. Toasted it first so it wouldn't get mushy. Then cheesed and Bruschetta'd it and broiled it. YUMMMY.... Even Mike, my tomato hating dh, loved it! :) Thx for sharing....

I didn't need no stinkin' recipe! :)

Hello All

I have been lurking here for a bit and let me say, you all are SO hard to keep up with! Miss one day and you're 30 pages behind! But I love reading here and spend WAY too much time on this board! I feel like I know some of you. I've learned so much from you all too!

I've had my cruise booked for a year and a half and my SIL and I are now wondering if we should switch to late seating. (Nothing like waiting till the last minute) We're just nervous that we'll be too rushed with early seating. The question is, how do we switch to late when we're this close to sailing? There are 12 of us in our group. Can it be done?

Thanks for any help you can give!

JenS - First Disney Cruise in 17 days! :woohoo:

Give it a try, nothing to loose and I think a lot of people like the early for some reason :confused3 so you may have luck.
