o.k. All caught up - DH just told me to look at Mary's website - Ron/Legal Brief's wife's name is Monica... I didn't meet many Monica's growing up; my first "double" was in college...So, it's still fun for me to meet another Monica

Ironically, one of Mike's classmate's parents are Monica and John...

We took the kids and headed down to Galveston and the new Schlitterbahn waterpark for the day. It was a lot of fun - until I was coerced into riding down one of the tube slides...One slide is plenty for me - the lazy river is more my speed...Spent the rest of the day parked in a lounge chair sleeping, reading, or (unofficially) assisting the lifeguards with monitoring the wave pool, or assessing guard coverage and placement... Hazzard of my occupation, I guess - I guess I can't go off duty around water....

I have theories on this....I think twos are a challenge b/c they are able to get into everything and they do. They are naturally curious, but don't know the dangers. Threes will do it deliberately even though they KNOW it's wrong.

Thank God 4 comes, but then 11 comes!!!

That's been my theory/experience with the twos/threes. When Erin hit four, it was like we got another child! Five's been even better. I was wondering how long that would last... Guess now I know. Thanks...

I'm not trying to be a smart alek here....just wanted to preface it with that....

2500 passengers.....3 dining rooms....that makes 833 people per dining room per night. WOW. is that possible????

5th or 6th grade (somewhere between ages 10-12) seems to be when it "starts up" again!! Luckily, it too shall pass -- when they're 18 or 19, they become really sweet again!

Hey,
How are you all!!! I hope better then me. I am really bummed that we were suppose to move and now the past few weeks my DH boss is saying well I don't know again. This has been going on for two months and I am just venting a bit so please put up with me here!!
I like where I live now but the move would have made us much closer to family, (we don't have any family were we live now) then now. Plus we would have been just a days drive from WDW!!
I have also gained weight!!! Not that I don't already need to lost a Lot anyway.
Well thats it for now and hope tonights Grays new show will be a good one!

Exercising just cost me $35. We were all downstairs doing the circuit (treadmill, total gym, gazelle, trampoline) when we heard a loud CRASH. It was the cat. Knocking my ceramic OSU platter/veggie/fruit dish off of the garden window shelf. The one I got for Christmas from Mike's family. Luckily I've seen them at my local Hallmark. (sigh) That will have to be replaced. Grrrrrr

See? That would be a sign for me that I should NOT be exercising.

Yes, I homeschool, but I'm only on 3rd grade and 6th grade math (although 6th grade is getting tricky with the graphing of functions and all that algebra stuff!)

Now, I cant complain about DH. I am embarrassed to admit, but Ithink he does more cleaning than I do. He takes care of the living room/kitchen....I am responsible for the bathrooms and bedroom.....and nagging the kids to clean theirs...

It's pretty much the same here. For one thing, Jim works at home, so he has more time to do it. But when we first moved in together, he said he didn't like how I did the bathroom, so I said, "Fine! You do it!" And he's done it ever since. The laundry's my problem. And for three people, we create a HUGE amount of laundry...
