So I guess we have to get all 83 numbers for boarding now. Can you see DCL when I say we need all 83 numbers. No I know we will do a three way split. Virgil and Stacey get in line and we still get all of you in together. Cute idea.

We haven't done that, but we did switch from MCI Neighborhood (unlimited long distance and all the features like call waiting and voice mail) to Vonage (unlimited long distance and all the features like call waiting and voice mail)

MCI Neighborhood...$63 a month
Vonage......$25 a month

The only difference I can tell is that if we call 911 we have to be able to give our address b/c in our area it hasn't been programmed in yet to automatically give our address to the dispatcher.

My FIL asked me about Vonage, but I didn't know anyone who used it. No problems for you; other than 911. Just curious.

Ok, looked at Mark and Mary's site....(the deck plan pages)
there are 10 cabins on deck 2 by us DISers
there are 6 cabins on deck 5
there are 10 cabins on deck 6
there are 12 cabins on deck 7
there are 8 cabins on deck 8

46 cabins in all (although some of those ppl never ever post, so we could get away with a few less)

so 83 is a little overkill (although we could make a buck or two selling low numbers to those who have high numbers!!!) :lmao:

Yes. At first, the phone would cut out here and there. Usually when I was calling out. I'd call, and the person would answer. I'd say a few things and then *poof* they were gone. It involved rebooting the router. Mike upgraded our router and now we've had no problems. (ohiomickey will give you more details if you need them....I've said about as much as I understand on the subject!)

One more small problem....our voice mail light will NOT stop blinking even after we've gotten the message, but we unplug a phone and plug it in and it goes away. Minor inconvenience considering I'm saving $38 a month.

I do like the feature that Vonage emails me with my voice mail messages....and I can download them on your computer and listen right there. After all, I'm usually ON the computer so it's easy to get my messages. :) :lmao:

Yes, I would love more details just because we are seriously considering it. Whenever he can post, that is fine. It's not like we are doing this today. Thanks! :thumbsup2

I'm afraid that if I see it, I will not want to return to my humble room on one of the lower decks! Maybe I will visit on the last night of the cruise! HEEHEEHEE :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Ok, this is where it gets too complicated for me. I need to "blow hard" if my snorkel gets water in it....Ok....so I'm underwater....water gets in and starts choking me.....I need to "blow hard" but cannot take in a deep breath without sucking water into my lungs. Where, pray tell, does one get the air in their lungs to "blow hard?" :confused3 :confused3

Ya know what? I'm just not a water person. :)

I am a water person and I totally understand your issue....this is why I prefer Scuba to snorkle.....do what I do...float on top of water....no need to "blow hard".......

I also heard that they HAD to drink wine b/c their water was so horrible it would have made them sick. If that's the case though, how come native Mexicans don't get sick drinking their water?

Because it is Beer????? :teeth:

Of course you can come visit and check the place out. I am curious to see it too since we have never cruised.

Do I need a sign up sheet for tours posted on the door for everyone or just one big Open House Tour.
