Sorry Pam - I think it took me 45 minutes for that one post. I was working on it during commercials - and of course the picture took awhileBWVPam said:One more for a top! Nope, Sherry snuck in for a top

Hey, I'm hoping I'm coming out your way between now and next May ('07). KT has entered me in a "why my mom deserves a spa vacation" contest! She had to write a 100 or less word essay about how great I am.![]()
ohiominnie said:Doesn't happen here. Dh is a pediatrician AND the kids are all up to date on immunizations (in fact, he's even brought the flu vaccine HOME and we've given it here---saves us a 30 minute drive each way)
Although he did just inform me that Nick is quite overdue for his med recheck. Oops!
U TOP with Stacey and her family and my family. How cool is that?

sjtracey said:Thanks, Laura. I'm optimistic that all's well. I'm just glad that we now know what it is, that we're not alone, and that there is help. Thanks for letting me know about your niece and that she's getting better. Just a matter of time, I guess!

sjtracey said:Offended? Grossed out? Trust me, there's not much you can say to me on this subject that hasn't been talked about over dinner almost every night for the last few months. I long for the day that we DON'T talk about poop at mealtimes!
Seriously, though, you bring up great points, and I appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge.
Our initial problem with wetting led us to a diagnosis of encopresis, and Erin's been on Miralax (and regular as clockwork) for a few months now. We (and her pediatrician) were hoping that the problem would resolve itself after she was cleaned out and had time to heal, but obviously, that's not the case. The urologist did bring up constipation and knows that Erin's on Miralax, so we've got those bases covered. But as you said, she's seen no improvement on the daytime wetting front (she's always been dry at night - go figure), so we're going to give this a whirl.
OK, we've now successfully grossed out the board for the night. LOL! And I'm sure that now LOTS of people want to have dinner with us!

Where is my 3.5 year old learning how to "smooch"??? I went out to get my hair cut tonight. She saw a commercial on TV and told Bruce that the couple was smooching. He asked her what it was and she did that to him.

no wait... i have a REALLY funny stool story... (about a real stool not the other stool, you know?) so I might have to use that word.
ohioMickey said:Sure, Winston Churchill was here, just last night in fact.

Thanks for the info - it helps put things together! When DS was about 6 or maybe he was 7 already he was having constipation problems. At one point the Dr. ordered an x-ray of the midsection. We were told DS was "moderately full of poop"! At some point he started wetting frequently. I think it lasted 6 months or so. It was quite frustrating. I don't think we ever put the two together. We assigned him the nickname The UrinatorDuring this time was our first Disney Cruise. We cruised just after Thanksgiving. I thought it would be great to have a Christmas Card picture. After we left dinner one night we went to the atrium to take a few pictures. I don't know if it was the lighting or what, but I didn't notice DS pants til I saw it in the pictures. Needless to say, we did something else about a Christmas Card
