At least there are a few people around here who don't think I'm all that horrible. Quick to be sarcastic, sure. I'll point out a spelling/grammar error here or there IF the error causes me to laugh (I didn't see anyone complaining when I called Jim on his "sit the pot" error---I mean everyone is still USING that one, aren't they?) Would I bend over backwards for just about any one of you....yes. Have I mailed out care packages to several of you over the years....yes. Cruise related:

Finally received a call back from DCL concerning my inability to schedule both myself and my wife for the same shore excursions. They were able to resolve everything for me, but they were unable to tell me why I could only book either myself or my wife for the excursions.

Maybe my wife called DCL and said that she doesn't want to do any excursions with me?

Anyway here is my (current) excursion schedule:

Day 1 CC - Cabana Massage, Personal Watercraft Eco Tour (double) at 2:45, 2-day CC package
Costa Maya - Dolphins encounter
Cozumel - Beach & Ruins
Day 2 CC - 2-day CC package, Stingray Adventure at 3:00

Can't wait to go! 4 weeks from today we are at WDW!

Actually, we got the new roof just over 2 yrs ago and picked green because we knew somewhere down the line we'd get new siding and all would match. But I always wondered what the neighbors were saying that whole time!!

Maria and Ohiominnie-Karen - THANK YOU for the tip on 'kids' tipping. This is Nick's 3rd DCL cruise but 1st time in the club. I will put that on my list. Any other tips on kids and cruising?

Sure. Go with the flow. On our first cruise our rule was "You MUST eat dinner with us every night." That was broken on the second night. Sure, it's a family vacation, but not any fun if the family isn't having fun. So we encourage eating with us, but it's not mandatory....although, as they get more food wise, they are realizing that the same old same old kids club meals are not as good as ordering off the adult menu in the real restaurants!

Very nice, OHM! We had an estimate on Monday, getting another tonight and another tomorrow. Insurance only paid to repair the missing siding/trim, but trying to match 15 y/o siding did not appeal to us. Plus the rest of the siding looks as if it could blow off any time, so we've decided to get the whole house done ($$$ ) after the cruise. Ours is clay color w/brown shingles, no shutters. Don't know if we'd change colors or not.

Yeah, it was $$$, although we had a few estimates and there were some that were $$$$$$$$$! I think we got a decent material and a good crew, so I'm happy. I just can't believe how NEW it all looks. The soffits on my porches (which were all icky and nasty) now are SO beautiful. Unfortunately it's like new car smell....it'll go away after awhile.

Liz, SURE! Why not? I keep bugging my dad to wire it for electricity and put in plumbing. Wouldn't that be a cool?? That is, as long as the wireless network would reach that far!!!

Hey all! Well, its getting close, so, I will try to be on the boards with more frequency! You are most talkative bunch I have ever seen, which is very cool, but... wow... my inbox is always full! LOL... I am glad to see some friends from past cruises here, especially my dear friends Fran and Dave... Those of you that are not aware, Fran has those "Crazy dancin' feet!" So, MOST nights we will be in the club, so, come join us... oh, and if there is a good Mojito to be found at some event, COUNT ME IN! lol! I am looking forward to getting to know you all better!

Hi Ron I was just thinking about you A friend and I were watching Shopgirl (by Steve Martin) last night (it's so-so). Anyway, there's a small part about Mojito's. Was Robert the name of the bartender who made them so well??? Do you know if he'll be on this cruise?

We're flying the scenic route to Florida.........via Vegas. Maybe we'll see ya!

And yes, Fran and Ron are great at kickin' their heels up!

Now, to be a true science experiment - there's a control group (without alcohol) then there would be various types of alcohol groups - grain, grapes, etc...etc...

Then the tests have to be run multiple times to verify the results...

I think this test will be run daily so the results will be verified!!

Been trying to read and catch up...but now I give up.

I did see that Mary asked if we wanted to do anything special. Anyone? Do we want to do a picture again? If we do, I can ask the gal at Disney Dining for the contact number, since I don't have it from last time. I was working with a group coordinator back then, so it was easier.

As for anything else.....we don't have as many days as we did at Christmas, so it makes it harder to do a wine tasting, scrapbooking, etc....at least I think so. Anyone?

How about a mickey ice cream eating competition for the adults and kids, a scavenger hunt??

Karen (OhioMinnie) By the way, where are you guys staying the night before?? I am sure Ashley would love to meet KT before the cruise. I know there are several of us at the Rad, but now I don't remember who all is staying there. I had thought about trying one of the newer places, but I got a really good rate at the Rad. and the kids love the pool there.

Barbara -- because I do a lot of work with our Local Radisson, the Sales Manager called and got us a rate of either $99 or $109, I would have to look at the resv.

I booked the cruise package back in Nov/Dec 159.00 which includes leaving our car there.

Landing on my bu** is the worst fall I could take. I was pretty upset last night...but so glad that it doesn't seem to have caused any major trouble. It just makes me mad when something like that happens. Mad that I have to be so careful, mad that the stupid stool decided to cave in, mad that nothing can be done to "fix" my back......
But this morning.....glad that all is well and it's a beautiful day.....

Glad it is not major and hope it feels better soon.
