That would work best for us. That way we could still get back to the port at a decent hour. Maybe we'll even head over to the Rad and see what's going on over there (we're staying at the Hampton Inn).

Sandi- sorry about snagging the top. It was totally unexpected!

Hi Sandi - I was thinking of keeping the car until Saturday morning, too. How do you get back to the hotel from Budget then? Do you have to take a cab? Maybe both of our DHs can share a cab back to the hotel. We're both on the 10:00 shuttle, right? Or will you be returning the car?

I was just going to walk back to the Radisson after dropping off. It's not that far, unless it's pouring down rain or something. I do the driving in the family, partly because I can get carsick unless I'm driving and partly because DH drives all week long for work and likes to sit back and relax. Besides, he's my navigator.

Good morning all. We just had a mini-storm come through here. One big bolt of lightning that shook the house. We were waiting for the bus. Very scarey!!! The rain just stopped and I'm glad cause it rained here most of the weekend.

Not much else to tell. Just starting to really hone-in on the packing list. Way too many things to bring.

DH likes 7+7s to drink or Bud-wise-r! I'm not a big drinker but I'll have my share.

Me either :confused3

Ray, can you describe it's flavor? Is it something that will put you "down for the count" pretty quickly? :rotfl2:

If you like Ginger you should like this, it is Black Seal Rum and Ginger Beer, if you have a bunch it will put you down for the count but should be OK for 1 or 2...It can also be made with Ginger Ale and is still as good but not as heavy of a ginger flavor....

OK let's get this posting count up.

Not too many things to do today. Laundry, take camera over to Wal-Mart and check out how the new camera takes pictures, food shopping, figure something to eat for tonight. Ya know, usual stuff.

Anybody else have something that I could live vicariously through?

Oh this is my dd8, Maggie to a T - our Native Texan wants to live on the big island and train horses. The rest of us are Illinois transplants...

There's at least one one other Dallas area family - she (BibbidyBobbidyBoo) posts every so often.

BibbidyBobbidyBoo..... Where ar you???? :goodvibes

I actually took something for the first time last night. It's a generic for Sudafed. I get light headed too. I didn't realize that the sore throat is because of that, too. And it rained most of the weekend. Isn't it supposed to be better when it rains? Although the sun came out about 3:00 and that's when it all started. I hate getting old and coming up with these illnesses that you never had before. Ahh, to be young again. Skinny and carefree.

Yeah, the sore throat is part of it because you've got secretions going down the back of your throat all night when you sleep (and to a lesser extent all day)

I'm not a huge Sudafed fan (or other such equivalents) only because it make me either really sleepy or really jittery. (depends on the day, weird, I know!)

If Claritin would make me skinny I'd take more than one a day!!!! :)

Cool! Caught up and found a U TOP!!!

Uh oh... I've got a milestone post coming up... hmmmm... something profound, something profound... maybe I should have saved hubby's birthday wishes for post #3500... but I wanted to be the first to wish him a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!

From this map http://www.wdwinfo.com/resortmaps/okwmap.htm, it looks like we were in building 18. It was a little walk to the hospitality house but VERY doable. I think it looks longer on the map than it really was. We did it a few times. We were right across from the bus stop. I would definitely request that location again.

Ang

Our great building (where we could preview busses that were coming) was building 23. We were on the corner closest the road (just under where the "N" is for "Check-in")

Mary was asking us if there were any other DIS meets that we wanted to be added to the DIS navigator, and she wanted our opinion on getting a group photo...
